All I did was take the remote out of the box and put in batteries and it worked no problem. Nothing to set up, nothing to program. Very user friendly and the build quality is the same as the original remote. Great for the price.

The Insignia replacement remote was a snap to get working with TV. Just added some good batteries and the remote worked great. If you need a remote for your Vizio TV then this one will do the job.

The original remote for our TV malfunctioned, and the universal remote we bought would not access all the functions of our TV. So when we saw this we had to buy it - it accesses all the functions of the TV and was cheaper than ordering online. I’m happy we found this remote.

I was able to take the remote control out of the packaging and the setup was easy. I didn't have to do anything. Just point it to the television and it did all the setup itself. Well worth it.

You’ll forget that you bought a new remote. It worked out of the packaging, and all of the buttons work as intended, unlike the universal remote that I tried.

Just what I needed I was hoping that this would work for him my old Vizio TV I read different things on Amazon but I just wanted to go to Best Buy and hope that there’s would take care of my issue and I did great I’m so happy

Bought this remote to replace OEM remote that was damaged by playful kiddos. Not only does this remote do everything the OEM one does but it’s also a bit beefy’r and holds up to young kids way better then the original.

This item works great. My old remote just didn’t work anymore and caused me much frustration. So happy I can change my tv channels without the remote turning off the tv !!

This unit is better than the one that came with the TV. Bigger buttons, easier to hold and use. I found the original that I originally lost and put it in a drawer when I found it in favor of this one.

This remote is easy to use and the buttons are large enough for small fingers, as well as arthritic ones. The buttons are clearly labeled. It works great with my older Vizio TV. Happy to found it at Best Buy!

For some reason on the gifted tv I got, it’s a vizio and has no buttons on tv and needed to buy a remote, took less than a minute to get it working and am very happy, much smaller than universal remotes I looked at!

Purchased as a replacement for original controller after my grand children broke the first one. Did not have to do any changes with it as it worked properly out of the box. that's all i could ask for.

Bought to replace the remote for a 10 year old Vizio TV. Works fine and has capability to program buttons on this remote for additional functions found on the original remote. On this remote, I do miss the separate HDMI and AV buttons found on the original. Solidly built.

It’s a replacement remote and it works just fine. It’s basic. No bells or whistles. The keys are in the right places so it doesn’t take too long to get used to.

Replace the remote that never work good that came with our t.v. . This works like a charm right out of the package, highly recommend

I was able to program my old Vizio Plasma on the first try with this remote and was very happy. I followed to instructions that came with it and only had to try ONCE before a successful pairing. Two thumbs up!!

No set-up was necessary when I used it on my Vizio television. It worked right out of the box. Does everything it's supposed to do.

The Insignia replacement remote is really easy to use. The keys are the same except for the top part of the remote. The replacement has the keys at the bottom of the remote instead of the top. But they are colored without the name of the app.
