Believing I’d have to forever manually switch HDMI cables at the rear in order to accommodate other accessory devices needing an HDMI port since I could not remotely switch to any other HDMI ports; the “Tech Guy” at Best Buy handed me a remote and said, “it’ll work - probably won’t even need to program the new remote”. And… it did!

Okay VIZIO tv replacement device

Just a bit difficult to figure out certain functions. Like rewinding a movie you use top middle square over home box, then to play you go up to top by pause and use arrow. Just has a few glitches. Overall it does the job.

It worked the first time we tried it with our vizio television set. There were no complicated instructions to trip up people who are not proficient with mechanical devices.

They are available for a variety of brands, and require no programming. One of the issues with universal remotes is that I have found they are always missing some function. This is not the case with the Insignia remotes.

Insignia remote works with Vizio Tv

My new DirecTV remote did not turn on my TV even after my daughter and I tried several times to sync it with my TV. I went to Best Buy, found an associate in TV section and he showed me the remote I needed and it was a good price.
