Awesome device. I can watch tv without bothering anyone

Works great for me to be able to listen to the tv without it being turned up to load for the wife.

These are great, sounds great, comfortable to wear, and now I can listen to the tv without blasting everyone’s ears out

Set up was quick and easy. Less than 5mins I had the headphones working with my Tv via the RCA Jacks. You can also use an optical cable but just make sure the output is set to pcm and not dolby digital or else they won't work. As for the rca jack settings I have them set to fixed so I can control the volume from the headhones instead. Sound quality is good and have a decent amount of bass and they also get loud too. I did not experience any audio drops so the range is pretty good. The headphones themselves are comfortable enough to wear for a couple of hours. Build quality is good and they don't feel cheap with care you should get a couple of years from them. They are rated for 10hrs of usuage and charging is very simple just put the headphones back on the base unit. Overall they are a pretty good barebones wireless headphones that get the job done. Comes handy at night when our little one is asleep for school.

One caveat is that if you’re watching a DVD, sound may fade in and out briefly, which could get annoying. Other than that, works as described.

Love it! My husband and I won’t have to fight over the TV volume anymore. Since I am hard of hearing in my right ear, I can adjust the volume to my needs and it’s just awesome!!

Comfortable, good sound, nice design and does not take up too much space.

Great item purchased one 2 years ago, unfortunately the head piece broke. Went back to the original store (best buy) Braintree MA clerks there are excellent.

Doesn’t work well. Sometimes it does. Then it doesn’t. Actually I hate it. I did get help picking it out. Clerk looked it up. Said it worked with my tv. But it really doesn’t.

I have to say I'm really glad I got these Insignia NS-HAWHP2 Wireless Over-the-Ear Headphones. First, if you're married/coupled and have a significant other who either likes things too quiet, or better yet, won't let you watch TV in bed, then something like this will save the cost of a divorce lawyer. For years now, I've wanted to be able to watch the news in bed or SNL on a Saturday night, but simply haven't been allowed to. Now I can and these sound great for their intended purpose. They really are primarily designed for use with a TV. My Smart TV is actually Bluetooth headset capable, but won't work with any Bluetooth headphone I've tried and I've tried multiple sets. Initially, I had a rough start with these. They can be set up either via digital or analog inputs. While they come with a 3.5mm headphone jack to RCA plug, you can set them up via Optical Digital cable. Knowing that the digital way would provide better sound, I bought an optical digital cable and the directions suggest you have to configure the output to PCM, which I did, but they simply wouldn't work no matter what I tried. On the base/charging station, you can switch between digital or analog, but that didn't do anything either. So the simplest way to connect them is via the headphone jack on your TV to RCA cable to the docking station and it worked right away. The little user guide provided with these headphones suggests multiple ways to connect them, but it leaves much to be desired as it really doesn't provide enough detail. I was determined to watch SNL in bed, so I'm glad I was able to get them working. The headphones come with a built in rechargeable lithium-ion battery and a convenient to use docking station (see attached photo), which provides, according to Insignia, 10 hours of continuous use, though I've not tested the actual use time. The headphones themselves are very lightweight and are very comfortable on my head. I don't have a large head, but with as much adjustment as they offer, if you do have a large head, I'm sure they will fit just fine. Also the range is quite far. I was able to maintain a clear connection, more than the stated 33 feet distance from the charging stand. These are not going to be your go to Bluetooth headphones for most of your listening needs. They are however, a great go to option if you need to be able to watch TV, without disturbing others. For me, they have provided a flexibility that was sorely lacking and for that I'm very happy with them.

There is one channel on my TV that I watch continually. The sound coming from the headphone is very distorted. All other channels the sound is ok. How do I get this problem resolved?

Very easy to setup - took like 2 minutes to plug into the TV. Can connect with red/white RCA, 3.5mm, or optical. Then just turn off the speakers and put these on. Comfortable and sound good. Easy to adjust volume controls on the right side headset. Worked easily throughout my entire 2nd floor leaving the living room to snack in the kitchen without missing a beat. Wore for about 3 hours watching late night football and no more late night complaints of “Can you please turn it down!” Save your marriage and buy these :-)

Okay so the reason I wanted these headphones was originally for my daughter to use with the iPad. It clearly states under the description: "Compatible with any audio components (TVs, CD/DVD players, MP3 players, mobile devices)." I took that as tablets also... Only problem is that unless your planning on leaving your phone, tablet, mp3 or whatever on a table hooked up to the base you are SOL. So in my case that wasn't going to work, we're not going to connect wires to the iPad to then have "wireless" headphones. I decided to give these to my parents to try out. My father is pretty hard of hearing and always blasting my mother out from the other room with his tv volume. Problem solved. The headphones were easy to hookup. He seems to be using them without any issues. Not sure about how long the battery life actually is since he "doesn't want to take the chance" and puts them right back on the base unit when he's done using them. The sound wasn't the best IMO, but to my 70yr old father it was great. No more loud tv disrupting grandma, everyone's happy. I would say these are nice for the older generation. But for us Gen Xers and especially millennials, these headphones just wont hit the mark.
