If you are looking to do it yourself and you are not good at it, is not worth it.

If the damage to the glass protector was accidental as you described, we consider that the screen protector accomplished it's purpose of protecting your actual screen from deeper damage. Try to imagine it more like a consumable product that it has served it's purpose.

Horrible quality

A few hours later, I noticed another chip out of the glass. No idea how this happened. This class is super thin and not very good in quality.
