    Rechargable Saves Money

Attaches to Xbox One X and blends right in with console design. Includes 2 rechargable battery packs to quickly start saving you money. Each controller you own uses just ONE battery pack, instead of the usual 2 type AA disposables. The dock charges up to 2 packs at a time with LED lights indicating when complete. Only 2 minor issues. The battery pack is a tight fit with the controller door. I find about a 1 millimeter tiny gap where the door has not snapped completely closed. Not a significant problem. Also, the battery packs are designed to be removed and placed into the dock to charge. Some other more expensive solutions offers packs that charge through an opening underneath the controller door without removal each time. All considered, this is a great product at a fair price, especially if you are currently using disposable batteries!

Blends in seamlessly onto the Xbox and keeps a set of batteries always charged. So nice to finally ditch rechargeable batteries and separate in-wall chargers for this. Easily slides in and out of the charging holes.

    Great Option

I initially thought it was bigger for some reason but it fits perfectly against the XBox 1X. Very easy to follow instructions, just make sure you have the batteries in the controller the proper was or the back cover won't fit. It charged them fairly quickly, and I'm still on my initial first charge after about 8 hours of use and still more than half battery available. I would recommend this over the other version where the back plate is changed and it has a stand. This unit relies off of the power supply from the Xbox unit itself and does not need external power like the other charging system does. I have both and I can honestly say I prefer this option over the other one.

I picked these up on a whim at the $9 sale price. I would be happy with them even at the full price. Easy to charge, easy to swap, this is a very convenient battery solution that keeps the batteries right next to your xbox one where they are quick and easy to swap and replace and recharge. I have used the MS charge and play pack exclusively since first getting the xbox one and I would say this insignia charging dock with the 2 batteries is an even better solution. You never have to play with the usb cord attached to your controller if the battery runs down in the middle of game. Just quick swap packs. Easy peasy.

Bought this for my husband, whose controller battery was constantly dying. I read it wasn't for an Xbox one but I figured that connecting it with a cable would work the same way as far as charging the batteries. I bought this for a great price and even with buying a cord for it (from a very popular online retailer), cost me less than $15 together. It's so easy to use, it doesn't require much thought at all - and he hasn't had a dead battery since I've bought this. If you have an Xbox one, the cord you will need is a Type A, male to female USB cable. It only needs to be long enough to place the charging dock where you would like it to be.

First of all I can't see any reason someone would want to go with out rechargeable battery packs for the Xbox One controllers. But if you really want to buy double A batteries I know a place that has good sales on them almost always. That said I am more pleased with this purchase than an other add ons to my Xbox one x. Its great always having some batteries in reserve to use when needed. The charging station hooks into the xbox system via usb and looks like a normal part of the xbox. Batteries recharge quickly and I have had zero problems with this item. Best part? Only 20 dollars for non stop batteries. Can't beat that for sure.

I was very pleased and surprised with this purchase. They were on sale and I decided to try them...so glad I did. They installed very easily on my XBOX One X. The small charging lights change color when the battery packs are charged (there are two battery packs and two separate lights). The charge is great for my usage and fits easily in an XBOX controller (if you can't put them in the controller, reverse them and try again!). If you own an Xbox controller with no charging batteries, this is a must buy no-brainer.

I used to have the original one for the fat xbox one, but when I switched to the x it no longer fit onto this. This new one works great! I can finally have the batteries charge with the xbox again. Saves me lot of money yearly on buying batteries. This is a no brainer purchase!

I have had one of these for every generation XBOX One to date. Only recently did this one for the X variant give me trouble and break. It was replaced with minimal effort at my local preferred BBY store. Overall these are a fantastic value for the money. Super easy to setup, and minimizes down time from a dead battery. Simply, eject swap and plug in the other battery to always be battle ready! Cannot go wrong with these!

I had bought a PowerA Dual Controller Charging Station when I first got my Xbox. The batteries wouldn’t charge correctly after a year of use. I decided to buy this product this time around and it has been working great! The charge holds really well and the convenience of it being connected to the Xbox makes it worth it. The battery packs are easy to remove and place back.

This is probably the best xbox accessory out there. It was $9.99 when i picked it ip. Replaces batteries forever! Just extends the side a little. As a single player one pack is always ready to go. Charge is on par with other rechargables. The usb port that it utilizes on the front is a true passthrough. I have a media drive hooked to it and it works just as well as it would without the dock attached. Just a great product.

If you have an xbox then you know you go through controller batteries pretty quick, i hate trying to play the "line up the micro usb port" game for the chargers I had before, these mount nicely next to the system leaving a usb 3.0 port available, and the batteries easily lock and unlock for a full charge. Comes with 2 and if you have any of the insignia batteries from before check the appearance between the two because mine were backwards compatible for charging.

This is an efficient way to charge your controller batteries. One of the great features it does not not a power supply ( it plugs directly into the consoles front USB port and offers one on its front so you don’t even lose one ) Be careful when buying this though the xbox one S unit is like a mirror image of the xbox one x version. You may not of noticed but the usb port is one the opposite side. Excellent product though.

    1200mAh Batteries LONG LASTING!!

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

In the rechargeable game 1200 mAh are probably the largest you will find for the Xbox controller. Mine have easily outlasted any conventional Duracell or Energizer batteries. As someone who 99% of the time is only using one controller ( although I do have two) this setup has proven more than ideal. Here's why.. My primary controller is an Elite model with my backup being a standard model. As others have pointed out the battery pack is a very snug fit. However I have had ZERO ISSUES with fit of the battery covers on either controller. The Pack is ever so slightly bigger than normal batteries, but everything still fits, nothing is stretch or popping out. It just takes a little more effort as it as to be aligned perfectly and not just slapped into place. This very snug fit of the battery pack (for me anyway) has had a actually very beneficial side effect. I don't use the battery cover anymore. The pack fits snug enough that in minor drops (on carpet) or mild disgruntle throws on the couch it has stayed in place just fine. So as this kit comes with 2 batteries and 2 slots to charge them, I keep one in the controller and ALWAYS have a fully charged one at the ready. When I do finally get a low controller battery warning. I just ( with one hand) removed the pack form my controller, slip in in the open charge slot, release the other (fully charged) battery, and slap it in my controller. While I haven't tired to see just how fast I can do this, it takes on avg. less than 15 seconds. One you have the packs in person you will see they have a guide peg on them so they only go in the controller facing one side. NOTE: While they will only go in facing one side, you can put them in with wrong side facing you as you look at them. Sooo how do you avoid this, especially in the dark? The packs do have a striped pattern molded into one side of them. So you can do it by feel. If you had the controller in your hands like you would when playing a game, you put the Peg to your right and the steps out and you're good to go. After 3 or 4 times its muscle memory. Same goes for how to properly insert the pack into the base. The base by the way fits securely on the right side of the One X counsel and almost looks like it came from Msft that way. Although its pretty secure ( it actually as a peg that snaps into the side of the counsel in back) I still would now risk carrying the counsel solely by the charger. Other nice features of the charging dock: It does have a Pass thru USB 3.0 port on the front so you don't lose any functionality there, and both charging slots have small LED lights on them that are Amber when charging and White when fully charged, so you always know when your good to go. If I used both controllers at once more often, I would just buy extra of the battery packs separately. Bottom line 2 long lasting battery packs with a very well made charger for only $20 . Can't go wrong.. I don't like the ones that charge via cable as those are messy and get in the way. The ones where you have a pass through battery cover are fine, but those require a space to put the charger base and of course a power cord. For me this is the way to go.. Just like quick changing a "mag" in your favorite game, I quick change my battery pack.. Hopefully this review was helpful.. Enjoy

The rechargeable battery packs are better than having to swap out batteries in the middle of a fire fight or a melee blitz with a bunch of demons. With the fact it plugs directly into the front USB on the Xbox 1 it is handy especially when u have to swap batteries in the middle of a game .. In my opinion a must have for anyone who games and needs to change batteries on the fly.

Well if you need a charging dock this is best I've seen and owned. Price is great, especially when it's on sale. This works better then other charging stations I have and heck of a lot better then just the plug in and charge. I would recommend If you have a xbox one and go through batteries or need power packs charged this is your best option.

This charge station does exactly what it says it does. It plugs right into the front usb port on Xbox One X (and ONLY that version of Xbox). I gave it 4 starts because it's not exactly evident on how to install the battery pack in the controller and it's not the most seamless fit, but once you get it in there it works very well and charge seems to last quite a while.
