    I had the insignia battery charger for the original Xbox one and it had a much more solid fit. Batteries locked into charger much better. Comparatively they are night and day for fit and quality.

    Avoid product completely

    I purchased this product originally, and out if the box, it was great. The amount of space it saves, one less plug, and easy grab as I’m reaching for my headset to get a fresh battery. It changed quick. About 3 months in, and one battery pack failed to recharge. The second one, would randomly cause my controller to shut off (tested by comparison with standard batteries/same controller). Then, at about 6 months it stopped all together too. Tried to find replacement batteries (not possible) so repurchased the charging dock, and now <1 yr from purchase date, and all 4 batteries have failed. Save your money, buy a better product (one not from Insginia).

    Great concept, terrible execution.

    It worked great for a couple of cycles, then I started to notice the tabs that hold the batteries in started to slip off of the corner of the battery and cause it to eject. Nothing that I tried worked to alleviate the problem worked. I was finally forced to wedge a toothpick in next to the chattery in the slot to keep it in place so that it charges. I guess I’m stuck with charging them like that, since it would be a waste to throw out two perfectly good battery packs.

    It worked great for a few weeks, but now the lock holding the batteries in no longer works on one side, and a quarter of the time on the other.

    Battery pack wouldn’t charge anymore

    I’ve had awful luck with this product. I’ve sent it back and reordered it and had the exact same thing happen each time. I would grab a battery pack out of the charge port and put it into my controller, but it would not turn on. When I’d go to put it back into the charger, the port wouldn’t light up anymore to register the battery charging. It works good otherwise, if you only want to rely on one battery.

    Worked great atfirst

    Worked great for first 2 months. Now it's about 3 months old and the batteries wont stay locked in to charge. The take that holds them wont stay over the battery, they slide back then the battery pops out and it doesnt charge like that. I have to stick paper under the tab to get it to stay on the battery to keep it charging. That's ridiculous for the 30 bucks I paid for the charger and 2 batteries. Would of been worth it if it lasted longer than 2 months

    Truth hurts but lies hurt More. I was excited to finally have an easy way to charge my Xbox controller (like all Xbox owners want) Only problem is Insignia created a battery that FITS SO TIGHT you need a tool to remove it. Even the battery cover(original) is too extremely tight to remove with the battery inside. What a waste of time waiting for this product just to ship it back.

    Plastic Tabs no longer hold

    After a couple months of rare use, the two tabs that are supposed to keep the batteries clicked into place don’t function, you push the batteries in and they come right back out. Product is relatively useless now. They are made of flimsy plastic, perhaps a rethink of the mechanism is in order. Value proposition was very high when it worked, but core functionality had been compromised. Great when it worked.

    We bought this for our Xbox one s, didn’t realize there was an s and an x. Didn’t work for our s and we had tossed the box.

    Nice idea, attached to the Xbox. A handy design. The problem is that the batteries do not sit right in the charger so they do not fully charge They show they are charged but are not. Maybe it's just that the indicator lights are wrong. I had to shove a zip tie in to make mine charge. Knew I should of just gotten rechargeable batteries. Can not recommend.

    Don’t buy it. That was my short review. First it started by the charging docks. One after another stoped holding the batteries in place and just recently one of the batteries died with almost 40% charge. I’ll definitely return the product just trying to find some spare time to bother myself doing it!

    Flimsy button that holds the battery in while it charges loosens up with use. After 3 months mine will no longer charge battery’s because the button will not hold them into the port. Since I have many of these batteries I’ve ordered a new one of these and hope it doesn’t do the same thing as I won’t be buying a 3rd.

    Ordered product for my sons Xbox one s, works fine. However when I am using my product for the Xbox one x, only one side charges! I thought having the more elite product this would be held to a higher standard but definitely sub par product.

    Thу very bad downside: size. This batteries are designed to be easy swappable, but in the real life its very hard to instal/remove. I have 2 standard xbox controllers and 2 elite and on all of them I have this issue. Also when battery is installed battery cover is very hard to close. Very inconvenient. I end up returning it and get batteries with the stand.

    The charging station charges great, however when I put the batteries in the slots they won't lock in and they kept constantly popping out. I am putting the batteries in correctly, but they just won't stay in place. Luckily, I had a back up charging station.

    Don't believe Best Buy

    I bought this as "Open-Box Excellent." The station arrived in a ripped up box with crushed instructions and wrapping. Fine no big deal it was Open-Box. The problem was it was missing a battery!! The box even states "No Accessory Missing." Apparently Best Buy can not read or count.

    It got slacked after one time use. When I put in the batteries it doesn't hold. I've only used it may be maximum 2 times when I noticed the issue.

    It goes on the opposite side that the usb plus it’s suppose to hook into. Couldn’t return it so it just sits in a drawer. Never got to use it. Batteries don’t last long.

    These batteries dont fit the remotes correctly, we had to hold them in place. and do not hold a charge long at all. I was going to return them but we threw the box away.
