Installation was pretty easy overall, but had some trouble getting the clip to attach to the bottom of the console properly.

Forget all the kits with cradles and proprietary battery covers. This is the only way to go. I have three of these...they are rock solid.

Of course with age the battery life starts dying down so for example when we first got it. It lasted up to 10 days without charging. Now it last at least 6 days. But it's still good!!!
