The silicone is thin and doesn’t absorb impact the way you'd expect from a protective cover. It’s fine for keeping scratches and scuffs off the surface, but if you’re looking for something to actually protect your AirPods from falls, this probably isn’t the case for you. Feels more cosmetic than functional.
