The case also required me to adhere its "hat" to the lid of my AirPod's charging case. I didn't care for that, either. So I wound up returning it.

My only complaint is that while it keeps dust and grime out of the airpods themselves, the case collects a lot of dust and is hard to clean. For that alone I would recommend buying a different model
