I bought the Insignia Silicone Case for my iPhone 13 Pro Max in hopes of protecting it from scratches and drops. However, I was very disappointed with the case. I kept dropping my phone because it would easily slide out of my hand. The case also made it difficult to grip my phone, even when I had dry hands. Moreover, the case is very bulky. It adds a lot of unnecessary weight to my phone, and it makes it difficult to fit in my pocket.

The case is nice, but it's tear and wear after few months

As an inexpensive option for a protective iPhone case goes, this Insignia Silicone Case for iPhone 14 Pro Max with Built-in MagSafe really impressed me. Not only does it look more 'expensive' than it is, but it's well made too. The Best Buy Insignia brand often lives up to my expectations every time I give one a try. The mibrofiber-lined interior of the case, which cushions the phone, is oh so soft; and will surely help protect the phone's finish. And the 'soft-touch' of the case's silicone exterior, simply feels luxious. Seriously. It's comfortable to hold onto. I'm confident that when I grasp my phone in my hand, that with this case on, I will have a secure grip on it. The camera 'cut-out' and edges around the screen are "raised up" extremely well, to prevent damage to the phone's screen and camera lens' if your phone is inadvertently dropped. I have to say this again, the raised edge around the back camera lens' is really really great! The placement of the silicon side button "covers" are spot-on, and allow for easy, accurate button presses. The opening on the bottom for the power cable to be plugged into is wide enough to fit a variety of power cords, as well as, the one which comes with the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The built-in MagSafe magnetic ring feature is simply awesome; making sure the phone is connected to the charger, and provides fast wireless charging so you can go about your day. Worth noting: the sides of the case are flexible enough to be able to get your phone in and out from the case easily; which is an important factor to me. The nude color is kinda 'eh, but I like that it is neutral enough to compliment just about any of the colors that iPhone's come in. Bottom line - This Insignia Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max Silicone Case with MagSafe is inexpensive, basic, but does exactly what it's designed for.

This case is well constructed, compatible with MagSafe accessories, and protects against drops and falls. In terms of construction, its soft silicone to the touch but feels grippy. The buttons are also made of silicone. The case is described as a dark grey color and I would say that is pretty accurate. It feels pretty durable and in my time of using it as my daily driver I have noticed no damage to the case (or my phone). In terms of compatibility, it has taken everything I’ve thrown at it. The MagSafe magnets in the case are strong and work with both first party and third party accessories. Specifically I tested it with a charger, a wallet, a phone mount, and ar tripod mount. The cutout for the lightning port on the bottom is large enough to take any cable I’ve thrown at it. In terms of protection, this case seems like it would do a good job at preventing damage. The ridge around the screen is high enough that it seems like it would prevent the screen from touching a surface in a drop. Likewise the ridge seems to extend a little over the face of the phone which results in it staying securely on (aka it doesn’t pop out of the case). The cutout for the camera bump has enough of a ledge to prevent direct contact of lenses to surface during a fall. Again, I think this case is a great option for the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
