I had a really frustrating experience not only with this product but with the customer service I received from both Best Buy and Insignia. I purchased this on clearance for $10, partially paying with a non-refundable $5 promotional certificate that I was emailed from Best Buy. The design of the stand is cool, simple and functional, and it comes with a long cord which can easily plug into either the front or the back USB ports on an Xbox Series X. The controller easily falls into place and starts charging though it is a bit finicky, make sure not to touch it or it could suddenly stop charging. But the problem is that like a few other reviewers, I received a defective battery. It just cannot hold a charge, and it also causes a desync issue where I have to constantly resync my controller with the Xbox. I tested the battery in the stand as well as with two USB-C chargers that I would use to charge my old rechargable Xbox battery - even if I leave it charged for hours, the battery depletes within a couple of minutes, and that's what seems to cause the desync issues, the fact that the battery just totally dies almost as soon as you stop charging it. It's completely useless in this state. The problem is that half of my payment is non-refundable. I reached out to Best Buy and Insignia asking if other solutions could be made since I don't think it's right that I lose half of the value of an item that came defective. Because the item is no longer in stock at Best Buy, my only option is to get the refund - and agents kept talking around the fact that I wouldn't get a full refund. I had to show the refund policy to two separate agents who insisted that I'd be refunded in full (they thought that I paid with a credit card rewards certificate, not one of the promotional email ones). Really frustrating, if I sent the item back I would have lost $5 bucks which just bothers me on principle. And I especially didn't appreciate representatives who kept ignoring or talking around that fact even as I kept bringing it up. I switched back to my old battery and am now using this as a controller stand - it can't charge my old battery (it doesn't have the charging prongs visible on the back like the Insignia one does). But for around 5 bucks, having a controller stand is nice, I guess. Still, I'm not the first person who had this issue, so I would be wary when purchasing this item.

i really liked how convenient it is compared to having batteries. Got it for 10$ with the battery. This definitely makes gaming moreeasier not having to weey about batteries ever.

Very easy to use fast charging controller good for the price

I absolutely love it, it works great. This is just what I needed to stop using that long cable to charge my controller. Now I have a nice station where all I have to do is just place my controller every night to charge with out that ugly cable being around the desk.

If u play the Xbox by yourself get it it's worth it for the price charges with no problems at all

This charger works as it should. Comes with the rechargeable battery and rear cover with the opening for recharged to contact battery.

Works perfectly, it's great not having to worry about AAs, but still being able to use them in a pinch if needed.

Works great. Only gripe is you have to pay attention to how you place the controller on the charger... its very picky in order to charge.

Money saving and it charges up fast. I no longer have to keep purchasing batteries for my controllers. 5 stars.
