    The material is soft and sturdy at the same time, cushioning the 3DS XL perfectly. Will not work with the NEW 3DS XL, however.

    Although I would prefer to show off my Zelda 3DS XL, the case looks great, isn't too bulky and provides outstanding grip. I wish it was $20 as opposed to $22 or $25, but, it is a good quality product that I would recommend to any 3DS XL owner of any age.

    Arrived quickly and was packaged well. The problem was that the fit and cut outs were all wrong. Sound cut out was on bottom but slider switch is located on the top, same with others except for the camera ones. Returned for hassle free refund and ask how they could make so many mistakes and learned that there were two models of the 3DSXL and the early/older ones worked with this cover. Until this happened I didn't know there were two models. If you have an older model the case is simple but looked like it would provide enough protection for a low drop and prevent scratches without adding weight.
