I couldn't say how many cases I've tried for my Samsung Galaxy Note 8, close to 10 different cases at least. Every one had something about it that made it either insufficient for protection or were too thick which makes my phone uncomfortable to hold in one hand. This inexpensive, basic TPU Insignia soft shell case is everything I've been searching for. It is thin enough to not add excess bulk to the Note 8, but offers enough protection to prevent damage from drops. I have already dropped it on a tile floor and it only caused a small scuff on the case. The best part is how far up the sides the case wraps around the sides of the curved display. It almost touches the sides of the glass screen protector on the display of my phone. The gap is so thin I can just fit a fingernail in the gap. This basically completely protects the curved sides of the Note 8, which are very fragile. I have previously broken the display of my phone with a screen protector and a case on it, but the case left a large enough gap between it and the screen protector, that it was unprotected, and that's exactly where it hit when it fell and cracked the display through the screen protector. I know I won't have that problem ever again with this case. Even though it is snug against the screen protector, it doesn't interfere with it, or any of the "Edge" features. (I use Whitestone Dome type screen protector) I got the clear version of this case. My only complaint is that that it does scratch and scuff easily, and any dirt or lint on the back of the phone (especially black) will show through the case and that may bother some people a lot. It also attracts fingerprints and smears. It wipes clean easily though. Especially considering the price, I couldn't be more satisfied with this case.

This phone case has slots for credit cards and ID along with being durable but not bulky for my cell.

This is a really affordable and secure case. It's lightweight and it's got a slim profile. It doesn't make my note feel bulky or heavy. I ended up buying a second one after my last one (clear) turned a weird yellow color after about a year! Otherwise, this case beats out all my other $40+ cases! Would definitely buy again.

The Insignia soft shell case is light and slim to offer protection without a bulky case. It fits well and is easy to attach to your Galaxy note 8.

Protects the Note 8 well, the phone has fallen a few times but caused no chips or cracks. It also provides adequate space to get the SPen in and out. Only downside is that the material has yellowed a bit over lifetime of case likely due to UV exposure, but the appearance still holds up.

This case is great for protection. I like the idea it was clear and didn't hide the great looks of the phone. What I didn't like it it started getting cloudy. Most tpu cases get yellow after time but not this one. After about 6 months it was completely white. Other than that it's been great.

Upon purchasing my Note8, I had some difficulty finding the perfect case. I purchased a Samsung specific case and cheaper versions online, they were all either too bulky, didn't fit well or were too slippery. The Insignia Soft Shell Case fits the note perfect, protects the edges, works well with curved screen protectors and feels comfortable in my hand. I wish I purchased this one first.

Purchased as a gift and I didn’t like the over embellished cases in the carrier store... Though spur of the moment gifting the device, this case and a few other accessories came in handy as a complete first setup. And it was definitely a win. Sturdy while protecting and a simple but clean look. Good grip in hand while giving a sense of quality. I’d buy it again :)

I've use the bigger cases like otterbox, and I really prefer this one. This is my second in 2 years. Its thin, protects well, even accidental drops, plus it shows off my coral blue phone color. The feel makes it comfortable and confident to hold.

Very happy with this case. I have owned it for a long time now and my phone has never been damaged thanks to this protective case. IT is lightweight and easy to fit into a pocket.

I tried on several cases with the help of a Best Buy store member. This case had the best fit, grip, and still looked good. Wireless charging works well and the USB C cable plugs in no problem.

Went through a number of cases and skins. This one is by far the best. And it's inexpensive! The material is a soft silicone so it feels great and is virtually "slip-proof". It is clear which actually enhances the color of the phone, especially at night when it creates reflective highlights. Definitely the best of my recent purchases. I highly recommend. This was for a Samsung Note 8. I would have to believe that you would have other options for different phones.

Not only does the product fit well but it protects very well easy to hold on to doesn't slide around for the money a great investment.

Great fit, soft and doesn't harm your phone trying to get it on and off like some hard cases do. Doesn't add too much bulk but it is not super thin and comes slightly above screen surface, which to me is great since it can kinda protect the screen of you were to place the phone face down.. Only gripe I have is that the surface is a little slick and slippery.. You can solve hat by putting a sticker or decal on the back to personalize it.

This is my second case. I like the protection it gives, I have dropped my phone like 3 times and it has protected it from any scratches or dents. The reason I am on my second case is that is turns yellow pretty quick. Overall I like it for the fact that I like the transparency and I can make my own drawings to place between the case and phone thus making my own authentic cover.

For the price, this is a good case. Provides good protection and fits well.

I was looking for a minimalist case for my S8 work phone and found this case for it and liked it so much I bought one for my Note 8. It fit perfect it was clear, which I like because I like the color of my phone. Case was not bulky at all like my other case which is why I like it. It feels really good in my hand and almost made it feel like the phone didn't have a case.

Fits like a gloce, not bulky, protects well. Easy to pop off to clean inside edges.

Nice. Reasonably priced. Good fit to phone. Not bulky.

The insignia clear case is a great case if you just want something to cover your phone. I dont take my phone places where it would get ruined i just like to have the extra grip and if i do drop it this case will prevent my phone from breaking.
