Need a decent speaker without breaking the bank? I didn’t expect much and received far more. Sound is better than expected, battery life as well. Simple to use.

I bought this speaker for $35 and thought it was a decent deal. Now for $25? It's a must buy if you're looking for a decent speaker on a budget. Good sound, long battery life, and loud!

This small speaker is portable but it packs a punch. Holds a charge and has great sound. Love Best Buy’s Insignia brand because of excellent quality and value.

Battery life is awesome. Love that you can take calls through the device...the clarity is great. I was a bit worried about the quality and loudness but sound is awesome and it can get real loud even on the beach!

This speaker has two drivers in it. It doesn't state on this page that its stereo but it does say Stereo on the package, I did a left right test and it does go from one side to the other. This speaker is quite heavy for it's size so I'm guessing that it has a big battery in it thus explaining why it has 40 hour usage on a charge, the grill is rubber and cleans easily with a swipe. It's loud and has a lot of base. It has advanced features it does work as a speaker phone also I like that it displays the battery level of the speaker on the phone under the Bluetooth icon. This speaker is also waterproof.

So, these are new. Grabbed two when I saw them to try them out for performance, as well as recommendations going forward as Insignia usually does a great job of making excellent "core competency" level products that are no frills, but get the job done. These guys definitely replace the Insignia Speaker Brick 2 as far as sound quality, but not quite enough to dethrone the incredible value and sound quality of the original Speaker Brick. Pros: Pleasing Bass (for size and cost) Aux in Sturdy Construction Relatively clear highs Cons: Distorted sound in the high end. Distracting compared to the excellent well rounded sound in the original Speaker Brick. Weaker Bass than the Original Speaker Brick. If you've never heard the original, and your not too picky with sound these will be great gifts or casual speakers. However, they will not be something I'd listen too all the time with the distortion present, unlike the Original mentioned previously. Insignia, bring those back, if that's not possible, do everything you can not to make the "Speaker Brick 2" happen again.

The sound is great, the design is very nice and sleek, it is easy to use and set up, you can recharge it in a matter of hours, it has a hook to latch on to a bike basket etc.

So far I've had this item for about a week. I am happy with the sound quality and the range is great too. - This speaker is best used in a small space, but as I found out recently it is also loud and can be a back up to a larger space. - It is a very direct plug-and play once you sync your device to it.

Needed a speaker, that was Bluetooth and aux supposed. This one was perfect, portable, great sound, works with all my devices. Best thing was the price

This Bluetooth speaker is compact and yet it sounds like a much larger speaker. Even at high volume the bass, mid range, & high tones are crisp and clear. I’m totally pleased with this speaker.

Last Christmas, my wife and my neighbors convinced me to go through the work to set up the projector in our front window. I make a little slideshow with various holiday-themed video clips and songs playing. Everybody really likes it, but it takes a lot of work. I decided that this year, if I'm gonna do it, I want to do it right. I have a couple of bluetooth speakers that are really nice and really loud, but I needed something I could stick outside and just leave in the Idaho winter weather. Seeing the black Friday price of this little Insignia speaker, and having mostly good experiences with Insignia products in the past, I asked myself, "What have I got to lose?" It would be sad to have it die, and I wouldn't intentionally kill it, but I knew it was going to be exposed to snow, wind, sun, and ice. It has a waterproof cover for the charging port, but I didn't want to have to recharge it every day after leaving it on all night. I could have ran wires, but that was a lot more work than just plugging in a really long and really cheap micro USB cable to the outlet by our front door and running it to the back of this little Insignia speaker. So that's what I did. We have a little stool out there, and I hit it on the opposite side of the handrail posts, so it wasn't an obvious eye sore. It connected via bluetooth the the NUC inside that I had hooked up to the projector. I let it sit, 24/7, plugged in so it would stay charged and stay on. When I stopped the slideshow on the NUC, the speaker stayed ready, but didn't make a sound. As soon as I started the slideshow again, the music would start back up on the speaker. And it was LOUD! I can't believe the sound quality of this thing for the price. It's no $200 Marshall in the bass department, but that $200 Marshall is also not waterproof. You'd be hard pressed to find a $40-$70 that has weatherproofing and sounds THIS GOOD. You could easily hear and understand the music all the way out to the driveway and beyond. This was very much enjoyed by folks driving through our neighborhood to see all the lights during the holiday season. They would roll down their windows to listen to the songs, and then move onto the next street. This thing got snowed on, wet with melted snow, frozen with ice, without it's little port access covered by the rubber cap. It just kept right on going. I have it sitting in front of me charging right now. It works fine in the bathroom with all the moisture in there. It works fine on a hot day. And it clearly had no problem living outside for a MONTH exposed to full-on winter. I can't say all Insignia speakers are going to be this good, because there are always manufacturing variances on an assembly line, but I can say that mine has been excellent, and more than worth every penny. Highly recommended.

Like to use while cooking out. Good sound, volume, bass. I'm probably going to buy one more so that I can have true stereo

Great sound coming from small speakers. Sounds much louder than you would expect and the battery life is ridiculously long. I would highly recommend to everyone.
