Bought this soundbar to enhance rear tv speakers. Price was what I wanted to pay. I have owned other insignia products previously so I had no hesitation to try this product. Set up was relatively easy, however I needed to purchase optical cord to get it to work with my tv. Bluetooth works great when paired up with my iPad and iPhone to listen to music. TV sound is much better now also.

I purchased this Insignia sound bar recently and have connected this to my Sharp LED TV.. The sound quality is full and clear and it is very easy to set up. The bluetooth feature on the soundbar allows me to connect my phone and tablets too.. The results with even streaming audio were beyond my expectations.. It has 3 presets (Standard, Theater and News) that works well for my needs.. Currently I have connected the TV to this soundbar with a 3.5mm Audio cable.. I intend checking it out with a digital to optical audio cable too.. I got this soundbar in a flash sale for 54$ and at this price, it is great value for the money.

I got this Insignia sound bar at a flash sale for about $50. It was very easy to install and delivers crisp sound. The bluetooth feature is great as it allows me to play from my phones, tablets and laptpops..With three presets (Standard, Theater, News) and a Bass option, really could not ask for more at this price. I have used the sound bar with movies, sports and music and am very happy with the results..

We bought this soundbar because the IR port on our TV was no longer working, so we would have to get up to change the volume, or use the TWC cable or computer volume control if casting to the TV. This was a good solution to get sound control back, and to get better sounding speakers than what is on our TV. These produce pretty good sound, and they do have a built in sub-woofer. If the volume and base get too high it makes a rattling noise, but I didn't expect it to be any better. Overall, we knew what to expect, and this was a pretty good solution for us, and has pretty good overall sound that is much better then our TVs built in speakers. Bluetooth is a cool added bonus too when we went to stream some tunes from of our phones.

The set up was incredibly easy and as far as the sound goes, is great for not having a subwoofer. I have another one of the same brand with a subwoofer and was nervous to buy one without, but did not have the space, and I am completely satisfied.

Bought this for my dad who is hard of hearing. Was easy to set up, and has very good sound for basic TV viewing, especially considering the price. Wish I would have been able to get the comcast cable remote to control it, without further confusing him with extra steps, but the remote it comes with works well..

My friends and I recently got a projector for our apartment and needed to get some kind of speaker that took fiber optics. We walked into Best Buy and asked what the cheapest thing we could get that would work would be, and this was it. This sound bar produces decent sound in most ranges and can get very loud. There is some distorting when you turn the volume all the way up, but we never have to keep it that loud. One issue I have is the volume control. The different levels aren't very gradual so if I just want to make it a little bit louder I can't, which is annoying when I'm watching TV at night and want it to be just loud enough to hear what the characters are saying without waking my roommates. For the price I'm satisfied with this purchase. If you have a bit more to spend I would recommend looking at a higher model.

Bought this for our "open floor plan" house in which the Samsung TV in the living room seemed to beam its sound over the wall into the kitchen. Had to turn up the volume to hear well in the living room which compounded the problem in the kitchen. Did a little research and found that some folks solved the problem by using a front firing sound bar. I didn't want to spend a lot money and this Insignia model was within my budget and got fairly good reviews. So I bought this one and we are very satisfied. Beams the sound straight out into the living room. The remote works well and is easy to figure out. The bass output isn't great, but I didn't expect it to be either. The max volume doesn't exactly blow the windows out, but does the job. A bonus is the bluetooth connection. It quickly connected to my iPhone and it is great to stream music to the sound bar. A good product at a good price. Very satisfied.

I only paid 69.99 for this soundbar, and for that price it's really hard to complain about anything. It does what I needed it to do. Present more clear and louder sound. I didn't buy this and expect it to be the bass heavy, treble clarity, jammin heavy product. But it holds up. True sound for everyday use. No crackling, no muffled sounds. I use it with a 48 inch insignia and they seem to hold up. I've used it at several volumes and the settings for theater sound do actually make a difference. However! You must purchase an optical audio cable for its connection to the TV. If any other form (RCA, aux cord) is used the volume on the sound bar goes to full blast once the tv is shut down over night. You wake up and turn it back on in the morning and it's blaring loud. It'll make you jump. You can purchase a 5 dollar optical cable from Amazon. Fixes the problem right up.

This was my first sound bar and I purchased this sound bar for my bed room. I already had a full surround sound in my entertainment room which sounds great so I was not sure how the sound bar would compare. This sound bar met all my expectations for a bed room. Sounds great with movies or regular TV and the blue tooth is great also. Very satisfied with the value and even more with the performance.

I purchased this to go with a 42-inch Vizio television. As everyone should know, modern flat panel sets have lousy sound and very little bass. This fills in most of the missing frequencies very well. It sounds great when listening at moderate volume. However, once you go to about the second or third lowest level, it is barely noticeable. As this set is in a bedroom and I do not like having my wife wake up and glare at me for volume up too high, I have to runt his lower than it is best for. My issue, not the product's. Love that it has the optical input port as this gives the absolute best sound reproduction.

I have two of these - one for the main TV/DVD player and one for the back porch. Easy to connect to via Bluetooth. Sound is what I would expect for the money except I would like it a little louder for the porch.

Bought this sound bar since my TV's built in speakers are awful. Got the sound bar on sale for a price considerably cheaper than other brands. Plugged it into my Vizio TV easily with an optical cable and have been pleased since day one. My kid likes the bluetooth feature to stream her music from her phone. Good product, good sound!

Bought this for our bedroom, because it was inexpensive. It certainly sounds a lot better than the TV and the bluetooth feature is a plus. For the price I don't think you could expect more.

i wasnt liking how loud i had to turn my tv up when watching a movie , the problem is with tv speakers they are onthe back of the tv and are towards the wall , with a sound bar the sound is facing you so kind of a no brainer, this sound bar was under a 100 dollars and sounds great it even has a bass button which makes a difference as well, all in all is was a great by and im happy with it, one thing to upgrade the sound is buying a subwoofer and plug it in to the soundbar to get even more bass, i turned the sound bar off after using it for a while just to see how it was before with just the tv speakers and lets just say i turned the sound bar back on!

The sound bar works well. It does not come with a sub woofer and is not ideal for a large tv , but for you are looking for a nicely priced, high quality sound bar this will do .

we have a Hanspree with decent sound, which we use to play opera DVDs and to listen to Great Performances. We thought about improving the sound. Looked at a number of reviews, were impressed by a review of the Insignia NS-SB314 soundbar. I tried to buy open box for $63. but could not get the order to work online. Best Buy in Homestead had new boxed one on sale for $75. We bought it, installed it, and love it/

I don't think anyone would confuse this soundbar with one of the high end soundbars available but it produces quality sound in our smaller living room and we love to use it as a blue tooth speaker for our iPad when listening to iTunes or Apple Music. Great value for the price.

I bought this for my apartment, and my family and I are impressed. The sound bar is very affordable, and the sound that it puts out is better than I thought it would be. It doesn't come with a Sub Woofer, but I believe you can get one if you wanted. There have been times where I'm watching a show, and the sound bar made me turn my head around because I thought I heard something outside, but it was just the movie. This thing is perfect for us because we get improved sound quality, yet we don't bother our neighbors because our movies are too loud. If you want to improve your TV's sound without breaking the bank, this product is for you.
