Even though the associate told me this sound bar "sucked" (his exact words) and tried to sell me one that was $100 more, I know what my needs are and this is perfect to get better sound from my TV that had poorly placed speakers. I don't think I will be shopping In-store anymore because of the annoyance and lack of knowledge of the employees but will definitely shop online.

Great for casual streaming, not home theatre quality or anything but good for the price, Bluetooth is nice also!

This sound bar is good for the price. I love the Bluetooth feature because I can stream Pandora from my phone directly to the sound bar with no wires. I can pretty much be in any room of my house and still control it using my phone. For what it costs, I have no complaints.

I read about this in a newspaper article stating what a great value this system is. They were absolutely right. It was easy to set up. Looks good and has done a wonderful job of improving the TV sound.

This is a great value product that does what it promises to do. No bells and whistles, but that wasn't what I was looking for. Bluetooth and optical inputs work great, and volume is pretty impressive. This soundbar doesn't come with a subwoofer, so don't expect amazing bass, but sound quality is more than sufficient. You can adjust sounds to certain presets, with 'news' being my favorite for TV so I can clearly make out voices.

I am the jack wagon in the household that needs his sound quality when it comes to watching tv or a movie. I have been indecisive about sound bars and glad I did. For the amount I paid I am happy about my purchase. I would recommend if you hate just the tv speakers....

I use this in a small room, but for $100, the sound is pretty darn solid. I did have issues with it early on cutting out, but I THINK that was the optical cable. It doesn't sound tinny and I haven't heard it distort at all. A good deal for the money, IMHO.

The soundbar puts out decent volume for the price. Seems to work best when connected to Bluetooth capable items. It's nice to hear bass from the TV too. It's not super powerful but it makes a difference. It is super easy and fast to set up as well. That was nice!

Great sound bar for the price! I'm sure there's better but you'll DEFINITELY get your money's worth here. Don't expect to blow the walls down with sonic punch or anything but if you want a really nice enhancement to, or replacement of your TV speakers, this is your unit. It has optical, aux line in and rca connectors plus it's Bluetooth so you can connect with your phone or ipod/pad. It has a bass boost too which is kinda cool.

This soundbar has a great set of features for being at the low end of the price range. Sound quality is pretty good as well. I used the bar to replace the default TV speakers. Happy w/ the purchase.

I was looking for a really good sound system. I reviewed the BOISE system, but it was too expensive. I decided to purchase the sound bar. After connecting, it served the purpose. I was satisfied with the sound bar and did not have to pay a lot for it.

At the black Friday sale price this soundbar is a steal. At the regular price it is still a good value and certainly improves the wimpy sound of a TV's speaker. Controls are basic but effective. Packaging, instructions and presentation are excellent.

I have it on a Smart TV in a small room and it provides excellent sound. I did not give it five stars because I cannot control it through my TV remote and cannot actually see the volume setting either on the TV or the soundbar. But it was a great value.

I usually don't do insignia products because I don't know the brand too well but I figured I'd give it a shot after reading all the reviews. I am not at all disappointed! If all you need is a little amplification for the tv's that have amazing picture quality but poor sound, you will not find a better product for this price.

The 70" flat screen TV I have has limited speaker performance so I figured a soundbar would enhance the experience. I looked at several brands of soundbars that had amazing sound but also had amazing price tags. All I wanted was something that would fit under the TV and add fuller sound. These were on sale and a fraction of the price of the other soundbars on display. It fits nicely in front of the TV and doesn't block any of the screen. I used the optical connection and plugged it in. Easy installation under 2 minutes to do. It sounds ok and gives decent sound. Don't think that you're getting a high end stereo sound out of this. But it's a heck of a lot better than the thin speakers in the TV. If you're looking for an affordable soundbar that sounds good buy it. If you want great surround sound then look at the expensive ones.

This bar has good sound for it's reasonable price. It did take multiple tries to get it set up with the optical cable - thru the xbox one. Tip: It's easy to NOT get the cable plugged all the way in -you should hear a click and then it's good.

I was looking for something that was affordable and produced clear sound. So I bought this and combined it with a Polk PSW 10in subwoofer. This was cheaper than the leading brands like Samsung which came with a 6in subwoofer. This produced sound almost as good as the $600 Bose system. Very happy with this set up I combined.

Got it on Black Friday for $50. Used it to watch movies with as speakers on flat screen tv are not very good. Great sound quality, low end is great for action movies, and high end is perfectly balanced that you don't need to adjust to hear dialogue. Bluetooth connection for music playing is a great extra perk.

This sound bar works pretty much for what I needed. It definitely has better sound than my T.V does but it lacks bass. It's a good price for better sound quality. Just don't expect it to be like a BOSE soundbar or something like that.
