Great mount. Bought it to hold my San Disk Internal hard drive. Very compact. Doesn't take much space inside the computer.

I have been changing out HDD's for the faster SSD's and this one worked great in my dell desktop to mount the 2.5" SSD into the 3.5# slot. Installation took less than 5 minutes.

If you need to put a ssd drive in that older desktop, this is all you need. Screw the drive to the adapter and screw the adapter into the drive bay. Connect the cables and you are ready to go.

It's tough to wax poetic about a bent piece of metal, but this mount worked perfectly well for installation of a 2.5-inch SSD into a desktop chassis. All the holes lined up.

It does the job after modifications. A 2.5" drive mounts fine. The side holes to mount in a computer are not right. They are drilled/threaded for the smaller drive mount screws. They need to be the standard 6-32 mounting screw thread. Once threaded for 6-32 the standard screw length on the side closest to the drive hits the drive and needs to be cut down/shortened. None of the computer screw hardware acquired over the years would work without some modification. Works as intended after bracket and screw modifications.

local best buy was out of the brand name dual drive mount, purchased this in a pinch. fit drive perfectly, mounted in desktop and good to go.

This was purchased to add a Samsung Evo 850 1 TB to an i5 Dell tower. It was simple to install onto the drive and also simple to add onto the case.
