I’m not into fancy when it comes to the Apple Watch. I bought the SE model in black with the default sport silicone band, and it has served me well, but I have also used the nylon mesh Insignia band for a change of pace, and I switch between them. Then I saw this one: black, stainless steel mesh with a magnetic clasp! It is gorgeous and durable, and priced for acquisition!! The old band was easy to get off: mash the button on the back and slide off each end; slide the top of the new band onto the top of the watch; slide the D-ring on the bottom of the watch; thread the band through the D-ring and around your wrist, and tighten for comfort, fastening the band with the magnetic clasp. The magnetic clasp is unobtrusive and works like a charm. Once attached, I have not had it slip a single time, and if you want to tighten or loosen the band, its as easy as pie. The band is attractive and comfortable, and slimmer and cooler looking than the original silicone. The price is more than a bargain on this band. It’s a steel! Highly recommended!

I've tried numerous different bands for my Apple watch, from the included silicone bands to third party ones made of leather, metal, silicone and others. Some of them have been better than others, but they've all wound up being mildly uncomfortable at best in the long run. Many of them have incremental adjustments and wind up either fitting too tightly and making an imprint in my skin, or they're too loose and rub uncomfortably while moving around. The closest I've gotten to a comfortable band was a fully adjustable one made of nylon fabric, but I'm a fairly active guy and it got... well, let's say "old", far quicker than I expected. Enter Insignia's stainless mesh band. This thing is absolutely perfect for me. It looks fantastic, is durable enough for me to wear while working, and cleans up super easy. The magnetic clasp means I get a perfectly snug fit and I never have to worry about it getting snagged on something or having to take it off halfway through the day because it's cutting into my skin. The magnet is strong and doesn't accidentally slip, but a simple tug in the right spot pops it off, making the watch easy to put on and remove. I plan to pick one of these up in every color that's available. I highly recommend it.

This is a very good alternative to the Apple band, but much lower cost. Magnet is strong enough but not too strong as with some others I tried first. Fits the Apple 10 watch great. Looks good. Functions well.

The Insignia Stainless Steel Mesh Band for Apple Watch 38/40/41mm is flawless! It comes in frustration free packaging, just slide it open and there's your band. It has a nice magnetic clasp to keep it secure on your wrist. The color is very nice, like a gray silver, not too shiny, but just right. Fits well on my wrist with plenty of room for larger wrists as well. It's nice and light and doesn't pinch my skin. I've had other metal bands that sometimes would pinch my arm hair or skin, a slight nuisance but this one doesn't do that at all so far. That's awesome. Once you remove your existing band (look on the backside of your watch for the 2 little buttons, push and slide out) this Insignia band is incredibly easy to put on. You just slide it into place and you'll feel it lock. Make sure you have the orientation the way you want it and if not it's simple to take it back off and fix. Overall, this is a great band if you are looking for a metal band for your Apple Watch, just make sure you get the right size. I would recommend this for sure!

First Impressions - Well packaged "house brand" product from Best Buy. I gently removed the band from the package to check the fit and finish - It's very well made and the online description accurately represents the finish and rose gold color. Sizing - A pin removal and setting tool is included along with a set of instructions. If you are looking for the "plug" to push a pin back in, it's hidden in the bottom of the tool. I would recommend having someone with steady hands do the sizing for this. It's not difficult if you follow the directions but it would be easy to drop a pin and some may struggle with aligning the tool to the pins. For those with small wrists ! - My spouse has small wrists - as in the absolute bottom of women's small size for watch bands, bracelets and assorted jewelery. I removed ALL of the removable links in this and let her wear this band through two weeks of constant washing, working out and other daily abuse. It still looks the same as the day it came out of the package. No scratching, abnormal wear or other issues. So my spouse - the temporary adoptee of this band would like you to know that it's comforable and adjusts to fit petite wrists. No issues at all using it daily, no skin reaction to the metals and plating used. I have since put most of the links back in and put it on my watch. I have extremely sensative skin and have had no reaction at all to this band. It has been dunked in salt water and chlorinated water and still appears as it did when purchased. As someone who has owned an Apple Watch for a few years and tried several different types of watch bands, I find this Insignia Stainless Steel magnetic Apple Watch band to be a nice addition to my watch band collection. I had absolutely no issues swapping out the band on the watch and the Insignia stainless steel magnetic band slid securely into place on the watch ease. I do like the look of this Insignia Stainless Steel magnetic band, it is comfortable to wear all day and adjusts to my wrist nicely. (Sometimes it takes me a little bit to get it in the right spot on my wrist, but once I do it’s great.) I have an average sized wrist and have no issues with sliding the band over my hand. (Someone with larger hands may find this band a bit of a squeeze to get on.) The mesh stainless steel band’s magnet is strong and stays secure all day. The mesh is breathable and lightweight, drying quickly after a swim or washing your hands. So far I have not had issues with it snagging on my sweaters or catching hairs on my arm, which have been an issue for me in the past with lesser quality magnetic metal watch bands. The only issue I tend to have with any magnetic band is when I go to put it on the charger. If the bands magnet gets close to the Apple Watch charger, the band bunches up and my watch wants to fall off my night stand. I would recommend this Insignia Stainless Steel Apple Watch band to anyone who is looking for a classier watch band. This watch ban fits the bill for me to look more professional at work, I personally think the silicone bands look nice, but not for a professional setting. My personal Apple watch is pink and the silver in the band looks ok with my watch, but would looks great with the silver Apple Watch. I am pleased to have this Insignia Stainless Steel magnetic watch band in my collection!

My new Apple band by INSIGNIA is easy to install on the specific sizes of apple watches. mine is a 41 MM watch face size, but it is also compatible with the 38 mm, 40 and SE. The apple watch allows one to swap out the band to swimming or work outs, but for a more dressy occasion, this nice Insignia stainless steel mesh band. It looks stylish. Removing the original band is easy, just release and slide off. The replacement band slides right on without any tools. The great thing about this type of band is is is adjustable without having to remove any links in the chain. Saves lots of headaches here. The magnet is very strong and I don't worry about loosening. When the mood hits me, I can swap the band for another. Stainless steel is light weight and won't tarnish or flake off. I find the mesh smooth to the touch and no chaffing on my wrist or arm. I'm hoping it won't get nicked and snag any clothing, we shall see. So nothing negative to report or comment on. Just a great fitting and looking watch band to compliment a great sports watch.

I have a space gray Apple watch 6, 40mm size. I have a variety of bands and like to swap them out to match outfits or to fit the event. I tried this in the champagne color to see how it would look as a dressy band. I think the colors go well, and I like having a lighter color option for the summer. I have a narrow wrist. When I’m at my coldest temperature, I’ve had to come fairly close to the full wrap, but most often I still have a little room to cinch it down more, if needed. I like that with the magnetic closure I can get the band where I need it and quickly and easily adjust it to many positions (unlike if it has defined clasping holes, or links). There is quite a bit of play, so I think it would fit many wrist sizes. I took off a star because when I first put it on or when I adjust it, it sometimes pulls some hair and it grabbed at some threads on a hem of one of my dresses (but not anything else so far). Overall, this band looks classy, isn’t thick or clunky, and clasps and holds firmly. This one will stay in my band rotation!

This is a very nice stainless steel Apple Watch band. I have AW 7 in Starlight, which is a warm silver color. I got the champagne band, hoping it would match, and it does. I have an old silver colored band that is similar to this, but the color doesn't match my AW 7. I shared three pictures here to try and show what I mean. This band installs very much the same as any other Apple Watch band. The band is one long piece and a watch clip, which I kind of prefer to the two separate band pieces that have to clasp. Also, I have a small wrist measuring at 5.5” around, and some bands are too long for me. One of the pictures shows how the band goes all the way around, but is just the right length. There are instructions in English and Spanish in the box that walk you through the installation if you are new to these kinds of bands. This metal mesh band is really comfortable to wear. It doesn’t pull on my arm hair either. I really like looking at this band on my watch. I am usually a colorful silicone band person, so there’s hope for me yet!

The watch band is attractive and durable, a little heavier than the cloth band. I like it because it accents the watch.

This is a great value proposition if you're interested in the traditional, steel watch band look for your Apple watch, slightly dressed up a bit with the gold inlay. The gold color on the band and the silver is not an exact match for the apple watch aluminum and starlight colors, but it's close enough if you're not picky. The butterfly clasp works well, and the included sizing tool makes removing and adding links very easy to do, although it does take time and and markings on the band are very small and can be hard to see if you have bad eyesight. The two big negatives for me are the band size and the design of the links when removed. Although it's adjustable by removing individual links, the smallest possible size is still a little bit too big for the small wrist that will be wearing the watch. At the smallest possible size, the inner diameter of the band is approximately 2.5 inches and the circumference is approximately 5.5 inches. Also, the individual links consist of three "links" inside that are loose, which makes threading the locking pin a challenging task if you have big fingers.

This is a super classy, steel stainless slim watchband Pros: This stainless steel slim watchband will work for any Apple Watch with a 38 or 40 or 41 mm with. The adjustable sizing is great and that if you have a larger wrist, you take out a few links. And the tool is included in the package. Watch a quick YouTube video to see how it’s done be very careful. I suggest doing it on a clean table so that you do not lose the small Within each link. I have always removed those links and thrown them away, but you can keep them if you ever decide to make the watchband fit a little looser. There is a barcode on the back so that you can scan it and look at additional colors and sizes. Again, the style is very sophisticated and business type. Cons: I would not work out with this band. I believe the plastic or rubber bands are best for working out or sweating. I’m not sure I would even jump into a pool with this band so as to keep the movement of each stainless steel part, clean and smooth I feel like this stainless steel slim link band make sure Apple Watch look more professional I really like it.

The Insignia Stainless Steel Link Band for Apple Watch is a great little watch band. I have a 40mm Apple Watch SE 2nd Generation with a Starlight bezel. Even though the band has rose gold, I think it coordinates pretty well with the Starlight bezel. It’s lightweight and comfortable to wear. It has an unusual clasp. Most bands I’ve owned usually have a hook that loops into another link and snaps shut. This unit is one band (when installed on the watch). The clasp hooks in two steps, where you fold one half onto the catch, and then the other half. It took me a couple of tries to get the hang of it, but I think it’s a great design. The band retains its shine with no issues with the finish so far. It looks professional, but not too dressy where it wouldn’t go with the most casual of looks. The adjustability, however, left a bit to be desired. When shopping for metal bands, usually I look for removable links that don’t require tools. Typically, my experience has been that you could simply release the hook on a link (or two or three), reattach the remaining band, and there you go. This band comes with a tool to help you remove pins (which reminded me of tiny sewing needles), then you flip the band around to have the tool seat the pin back into place once you’ve removed the appropriate number of links. My wrist is approximately 6.75” in circumference. I had to take out three links, and it was still a bit loose. My first attempt and removing a pin, the tool snapped off. Then, I had to find some pliers to take off the broken piece in order to replace it. There is a door on the underside of the tool holder that has a spare pin remover, along with a cylinder (used to push pins in). It’s not hard to remove, or to replace, pins, but it’s finite work. You will need a bit of patience and some time. I think my mistake was that, while I thought the pin remover was lined up with a pinhole, it was actually hitting the band. Then, when I tightened the tool, the end snapped. All in all, I liked the band and would recommend. I’m did not like the adjustment tool, but I’m not deducting any stars for that.

The watch band is excellent. Comfortable, strong magnet closure, and it doesn’t snag. The color champagne is close enough to my pink watch face that it goes very well together. And the price was great.
