I am using this on the Apple Watch 45 mm Series 9. But it works on any of the watch models 42 mm and bigger. You have stainless steel "lugs" that attach to the top and bottom of the watch. Along with a very tight stainless-steel mesh with a magnetic clasp. Since the clasp is magnetic it allows you to get the perfect fit anywhere between 5.5 and 9 inches. Best of all, I am a guy with a lot of arm hair where normally a steel band will catch on said hair. This band never has. I have worn it during showers, and it dries quickly after a shower or washing my hands. To the point I do not even notice it is wet. Breathability is also good where I have not noticed sweat build up. I got the black variant and so far, (limited time testing) it has kept its color. But I have two spots where some of the paint has flecked off giving the typical steel silver color. Making me dubious of how it will hold up over time. But it currently looks great and matches closely with the black watch color. Overall comfort level is solid. The best steel band I have tried. But with it being metal when I am typing for my job, I notice some sharp edges on the sides that dig into my wrist compared to my cloth band. Which is to be expected. Last, taking it on and off can be cumbersome to first get on. As the band is heavy and the magnet is strong. Making it difficult to get that first loop. But once you get it over your wrist it is easy to adjust from snug to loose. Overall, my only complaint is the sharp sides when applying pressure to my wrist and concern of the paint holding up over time. With the band coming all the way off you can easily put it on the charger.

TL;DR: 1. SETUP: If needed, it comes with a set of instructions. It is simple to attach, but you need to make sure you don’t loose the one end piece. 2. USE: It’s very comfortable…surprisingly more than I originally anticipated. 3. USABILITY: It’s extremely adjustable; just like the velcro versions. 4. OVERALL: It’s very light, well made, attractive, comfortable and infinitely adjustable. It uses a magnetic closure.
Recently, a friend told me I really need to try out a mesh band, as they are comfortable, durable and breathable, especially in the warmer weather. I wasn’t sure which color I should go for, but decided the champagne color would probably match better with the Apple Watch Ultra’s titanium color. It’s a shade darker than the titanium, but the stainless may be a shade lighter. Overall, I think it looks pretty good. It’s very light and is well made. I have been wearing it for about a week. My initial concern was that the magnet may not be strong enough to hold it together, but it seems to be fine, as it hasn’t come loose at all. When installing it, you want to make sure the end pieces with the black side are up and the side with the silver piece in the center is facing down (like all other Apple Watch bands). The only sort of tricky thing was that the piece with the floating loop is not permanently connected and before I knew that, it fell onto the floor (fortunately I was at home and could easily receive it from under my dining room table). If you’re out somewhere, you may want to be extra cautious if you’re taking off or putting on the band. Once it’s on, it stays where you want it. The adjustment is infinite and can fit a relatively small wrist, or a very large one. My wrist is around 7.25”, and it should fit up to at least a 9.5” (possibly 10”) wrist, as well as a much smaller one. I like the Sport Loop and Nike Sport Loop velcro bands. This is as adjustable as those. I also like other versions and use several different bands depending on what I’m doing, but the Sport Loop bands and this Mesh Band can get you through almost any season, as they will easily adjust with the weather and humidity levels. This is a very comfortable and infinitely adjustable band. It looks sort of futuristic and retro at the same time. I will definitely continue to enjoy wearing it.

I have purchased several types of bands for my apple watch (Series 5), some made of fabric, some made of silicon, some with metal links, etc. I decided to try this 44mm Insignia Stainless Steel Mesh Band and in my experience I really liked it. The band comes packaged in a small box, easy to remove and start using. For those of you who have changed the band on your apple watch in the past will know that the installation process is simple. The watch as well as the band have a design that makes everything fit exactly, let's say there is only one way to insert the band into the watch. For first timers it will be a piece of cake, just press a small button on the base of the watch, remove the old band and install the new one. In daily use I can say that the times I have to readjust the watch band are few, less than I expected. Bands that are made of metal links always catch the hairs on my forearm, but with this mesh-type band it doesn't happen and that gives me extra comfort. I like the meshdesign because it is light and flexible, actually it does not weigh much, as this is sometimes a determining factor in whether or not to wear the watch all day. As I mentioned sometimes it is necessary to adjust the band again but nothing really worrying, it is not that the watch falls off of course not, it's just that sometimes it feels that it is no longer as tight and it is necessary to readjust it, I can live with it does not cause me trouble. In summary I can say that it is an affordable watch band compared to the price of Apple bands, fulfills its purpose very well, is lightweight, easy to install, and the color in my case silver looks great. For the price and design I can recommend it without hesitation.

This is my first time using an insignia Apple Watch band and I have to said it was worth it getting it. I have many different bands for both my Apple Watch 6 (44mm) and Apple Watch 2 (42 mm) and this insignia looks great on both of my Apple Watches. Easy to install, has magnetic clasp and adjustable sizing from 5.7 to 9.8 inches, there’s no screws or anything that you need to install this band, just slide it in to your Apple Watch. Looks elegant on my watches, I will be using this stainless steel mesh band for work, it’s very comfortable to wear. This insignia stainless steel mesh band fits Apple watch 42/44/45/49 and Apple Watch Ultra 49mm. Quit note : When you install this band on your Apple Watch make sure to keep the side of the ring with the three black dots up when attaching the band, this way your band is correctly in place and won’t slide out. The Mínimum wrist size : 139.7, the maximum wrist size is 241.3 and the band length is 10.15. I have a small wrist but this band fits perfectly.

I have an Apple Ultra watch, the first version. Love it, even the orange watchband for my day-to-day use. But there are times I go to the office or out for dinner and would prefer something dressier. For those occasions, this watch band fulfills the need. Swapping watch bands on an Apple watch is a simple task. Push the button on the bottom of the case near the band to unlock the band and slide it out. Repeat on the other side. Then slide the new band in all the way and it will lock in. Less than two minutes to swap watch band. Great when traveling, no need to carry a dress watch, just this band. Worst case if it gets lost, you’re not out the money a dress watch would cost. The fit and finish are as good as any dressy band I’ve seen. It looks more expensive than it is. The mesh band is light and allows my skin to breathe, there is no sweating under the band unless it’s very hot out. It feels amazingly comfortable to wear all day and night. The band is held secure on your wrist by a magnet at the end of the band, making it infinitely adjustable. Some other watch bands I’ve had or tried in this style have weak magnets and those watch bands can slide open. The watch can fall off your wrist and become lost if you don’t feel it slide off. I had no such problem with this Insignia band. The magnet holds strongly and does not slip unless I move it. No worry about the clasp at all, it’s on solid. Slipping the watch over my hand can be a slight problem if I’m not careful. I need to extend the band to its limit to slide it over my large hand. The problem is that it is too easy for the end of the band with the magnet to slip through the band loop at the top of the watch and fall off my wrist. I can manage by being careful to slip it on with the wrist just above a soft surface to catch it just in case. So, it’s a minor issue for me and probably not an issue for most others. The band is 10” long, longer than some others. If you have large hands, you may want to try it out on your wrist and see if it will be a problem or not. An extra half inch would be the simplest fix for me, but again, I can manage. I’ve spent more on inferior mesh watch bands in the past. I think this band is a bargain. Siding the magnetic hasp along the band for adjustments does not leave any marks on the silver mesh band. The quality after two weeks is holding 100%. The band still looks and feels new. I feel confident it will continue to work well and look great for an exceptionally long time. If you fancy a mesh band for your watch, you can spend much more, but I doubt you’ll get a better band.

    Mixed Feelings

Like the title suggests, I have mixed feelings with this mesh band. On one hand it looks great and on the other hand there's a decent number of minor imperfections and fitment issues. For starters, from about 8-9 inches, the band looks great. It's a classic look that really goes with about anything. I use it mostly when dressing up a bit or going to work. The band is comfortable and easily worn all day and all night. The magnetic clasp is plenty strong for regular everyday activities but do be mindful if you forget to take it off before a round of golf. If you haven't had a mesh bad before, you will find yourself constantly re-adjusting if you do any activity that causes the watch to move around on your wrist. Now for the not so great... the fitment at the watch isn't perfect. It will latch in securely but expect some lip to protrude from the watch (at least on the one that I got). This fitment also allows a bit of slop where the band slides into my Apple Watch Ultra. When you're looking at it up close, the fitment can be a bit of an eye sore. After a few hours you forget about it and tend not to notice the more you wear it but don't expect perfection. Also, I don't know if it's limited to the band that I got, but there were some minor imperfections in the finish of the pieces that slide into the watch. Not like it was used but it looks more like a factory finish imperfection. I found this to be mildly disappointing even at this price point. All things considered, this watch band looks the part and functions well but the appearance issues are a bit of a let down. I will still daily drive it and this would easily be 5-stars if Insignia fixes those minor fit and finish issues.

As soon as my wife saw and felt this watch band she announced that she wanted it! Now I have to order another one for me. The band is a fine stainless steel mesh so it feels flexible without feeling fragile. I actually find this much more comfortable than the Apple sports band that the watch came with because it conforms better to my wrist. Also because it uses a strong magnet as a clasping mechanism I can adjust the fit perfectly – no more its too tight or too loose feeling. The magnetic clasp is easy to engage/disengage and it tightly clings to the band keeping the watch safe. Overall this band looks refined and is perfect for the office and daily use. I wear my watch daily and even to bed and I have not had any issue with the watch coming loose or undone. The band has openings in the stainless steel mesh that helps keep the band cool. The only concern with this band is that it is a one-size-fits -all and for someone who has very small wrist or very large wrist might find the band sizing an issue.

I have an Apple Watch Ultra and this stainless steel mesh band fits perfectly. It feels like it was made and sold by Apple. The quality is there and so far no signs of the black mesh paint from scratching or fading. I wear men medium sized gloves and this band has no issues fitting me with tons of adjustment. If you have small wrists, then this particular band might not shrink down far enough. One thing I love is that since it’s a magnetic closure, it will have an infinite amount of adjustment like Velcro bands. But after wearing the stainless steel mesh band for a few days, you will soon start to feel the weight of the band compared to the original sport band. See pics for weight differences. I would find myself only wearing the stainless steel mesh band for “dressier days”. The stainless steel band is not ideal if you want to workout with it due to the weight. Overall, I’m impressed with the quality and would recommend this to someone wanting a cheaper option than the Apple stainless steel versions.

    Great metal watch band

I’ve had an apple watch since the first version and have done a few updates to the band over the years. I use mine all the time so the band needs to go through a lot, and also needs to be breathable for when I sweat and not retain water when I get my hands wet. Until getting this band, the most recent fabric bands from apple were my favorite. I’ve used metal bands in the past, and liked them but they were cheap ones and usually either rusted or worse had the color come off on my arm. The mesh type metal bands also were very easy to break and catch onto clothing. The Insignia Stainless Steel Mesh Band has had none of these problems. The band has a smooth edge, so it doesn’t catch on clothes, and hasn’t stained or rusted even though I’ve used to with quite a bit of water. The band is also very breathable, so sweat doesn’t get stuck in it like a plastic band, and water runs out quickly. Attaching it is simple, just slide out the old one and put the new on in. The magnet is good too, its strong enough to stay in place but not so strong it snaps on. There are two issues that I faced. First, I had my wife try it and her hands are too skinny that she couldn’t get it to work as it was too loose. So make sure you pay attention to the size and get a smaller one if you have skinny arms. Second, I ended up hitting something with the band and it did scratch me. This is just the fact that it’s a well made band, so if it pushes on your skin it can catch you, but compared to other bands that would probably have cut more it wasn’t bad but something to pay attention to if you are doing things where your arm might be hit. Overall I would highly recommend this band to anyone looking for something beyond the plastic bands. Its comfortable and works well with sweat and water.

The Insignia Stainless Steel Mesh Band for Apple Watch looks and feels great. It's definitely an upgrade from the standard rubber/plastic bands that come with many Apple Watches and upscales the look from a leather or vegan leather band. I have two Apple Watches - an Apple Watch Ultra and an Apple Watch Series 9, both with cellular. I originally tried putting the Insignia Stainless Steel Mesh Band on my Apple Watch Ultra. It fit perfectly but felt like the watch was too heavy to adequately and safely hold my Apple Watch Ultra. So, then I put it on my Apple Watch Series 9. Again, it fit perfectly and definitely made the watch look a lot more sophisticated and fashionable than the vegan leather band I was previously using. However, I had a few difficulties with this band, even on the Series 9 lighter weight band. First, there is a learning curve for putting the watch on. It keeps turning upside down while trying to tighten the band to close with the metal magnetic clasp. The clasp holds tightly once secured, but it took me a while to find the best way to put it on (I would rest my wrist on my desk and then kind of shimmy the band until it was nearly tight, lift up my wrist and secure the magnetic clasp. Secondly, and this is likely not a problem for many people, but I found that the watch band pulled on the hair on my wrist (see images). I tried wearing it tighter and looser, but it still pulled pretty badly. Overall, if you're looking for a reasonably priced upgrade, this is a great watch band. I wouldn't recommend it for Apple Watch Ultra owners, but on the less "bulky" watches, it's a really nice look and I would recommend giving it a try, perhaps in-store, to see if it pulls the hair on your wrists (if you have any).

You have always wanted the Milanese band from Apple but think it is too expensive? We all do. Get this one. Very good quality. Looks just like the Apple one. Does not loosen. Best of all, it does not pull on my arm hairs! It has become my go-to band when not doing outdoor activities.

One of the nice things about the Apple Watch I’ve always liked is the ease of swapping out the bands and the availability of other bands. One of the things I didn’t like sometimes was the cost, especially OEM bands. This Insignia stainless steel band has the same look snd feel of the Apple stainless steel band but at a fraction of the price. Using this with my Apple Ultra Watch 2, the color is not a perfect match but it’s extremely close. Besides the look, the quality of the stainless steel feels just like the Apple stainless steel band. The magnet is very strong and gives you the assurance it’s not gonna come loose. With this type of band though, you’ll still have to adjust it sometimes it’s just the nature of the design. But, this is the type of band I use when I’m going out for a nice dinner of a dressy event, not when I’m mountain biking of playing sports so that’s not really an issue. If you like having multiple Apple Watch bands for different occasions and don’t want to pay the high price of the OEM band, this Insignia band is worth the price and then some.

This is a nice comfortable band. I have other insignia bands for my watch, and they hold up really well, easy to use, and comfortable. This watch band is no different and seems like it will hold up pretty well. The band is a glossy black and looks good with my green watch. It's very flexible and the magnet is super strong. I have been wearing it for a few days and it has never come loose or unbuckled. When it's on your wrist it's very easy to adjust the tightness. I have had similar bands in the past and my arm hair would get caught in the chain links which would hurt. This band has never done that to me and a lot of times I forget I'm even wearing a watch. I like having a variety of bands to use for different activities. I'm currently using this one at work in my office. It's a nice simple but classy look and makes the iwatch look more professional. The one down side I found is the magnet clasp is showing scratches/wear. This is probably because I rest my wrist on my desk while typing or moving the mouse around which is causing the wear. This is something I suspected would happen but it does not detract from the overall band at all.

It’s a universal size. I have a 6-6.5 inch wrist. The magnetic clamp goes all the way to its max limit. If my wrist was any smaller, then I wouldn’t be able to use the band. It has a nice almost like glossy/glittery look, but not gaudy. It looks high-end. Goes well with my Apple Watch Ultra the first generation.

What an excellent design. I'm always working on auto, mechanical, DIY projects and security of my watch, especially as an apple watch, is crucial. I hesitated trusting a magnetic clasp watch band. But after only a week or so, experience has proven otherwise. The band has snagged on various things, as any other band would have, too. And the magnet might slip but always seems to re-catch quickly. Or I can unlatch it quickly and run it up past my elbow. Oh, and very comfortable, too. Wearing it at night is like it's not even there.
