The product is excellent and well work. Easy to use and perfect transfer of data without any lag. The only back-draw is the item price, it’s very expensive if you compare it with the same products on amazon or any other online shops

I bought a surface pro which has been a stable device but I ran into a problem with the video port. This video port does 1 thing as far as I know - passes the video display image to another display. The Surface was under warranty and I was going to send it in for replacement which certainly a hassle not counting the time to reinstall and configure the apps I use. So I purchased this device which connects USB to an external HDMI device. Case closed. I don't think I will regret the decision I made but I know right now it is doing everything I ask for. I did have to download a driver seeing that I don't have a ROM drive.

A handy way to add a second (or third) monitor to your Microsoft based PC. It's plug-n-play, you'll need to configure the display properties to configure as a mirrored monitor or an extended desktop.

This is light, portable and relatively fast. I use it to back up my Adobe Lightroom catalog. I can fit it easily with my other gear in the camera bag. It takes up very little room and does exactly what I need it to do while I wait to transfer photos

It does what it's supposed to. I have two of these, one for work, and one for my monitor at home, and they both work great. Would recommend, although they are a little pricey.

A great product will well built exactly what I needed easy to use easy to connect. I would pass this along to my family and friends if they need this type of product. USB to HDMI hook up for monitors.

This super speed Insignia USB 3.0 to HDMI External Video Adapter is a great product to have to convert your computer onto a big screen TV. It works really well.

I use an older model laptop with no hdmi inputs. This is exactly what I needed. Easy plug and play ability and includes driver software if needed.

This worked for me just like it was intended to. Hooked it up to my laptop, so I could project it onto a television screen. Worked perfectly. Would recommend.

Performs much faster than a USB thumb drive. Size is convenient, however, the included USB cable to it's connection is shirt and stiff.

Great performance so far. Downloaded the driver off insignia.com ahead of installation, and as soon as I plugged the device in I had 1920 X 1080 display resolution, which is what I expected. I use to drive a third monitor mostly for static pages and works just fine. However I've found that sometimes I need to remove the device from the 3.0 USB port and reconnect when the computer wakes up, in order to have any video on the third monitor, not a big deal but looking to figure out what the solution is to avoid this procedure.

I bought this to have an additional HDMI monitor port for my laptop. I installed the driver, plugged the external monitor adapter into the USB 3.0 port and connected the monitor and it worked perfectly. I haven't tried this with a second monitor attached to the HDMI port on the computer so I can't say if there are any conflicts between the monitors and the computer. I also tried this with the USB 3.0 port multiplier and it worked there too without any evidence of heat buildup or disruption of the attached external pocket drives. If you are looking for an extra monitor port, give this a try.

Bought this to replace a Belkin mini display port to HDMI adapter that suddenly stopped working. My local Best Buy didn't have a similar replacement adapter in stock. So, despite being a bit suspicious about this adapter (I wasn't aware that a USB port could be used for video output), I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised that after installing the adapter and driver from the included CD-ROM (instructions are included for downloading the driver if you don't have a CD drive) my attached monitor display came right on. Have had it for about a month and have not experienced any issues.

Works perfectly, easy to install, made the perfect docking station for my monitor and laptop. No complaints from me.
