Just what I needed to be able to connect my Surface Pro to projectors for presentations. Works well.

East to use, small and compack and price was reasonable.

This works great on my new laptop. It doesn't on my old laptop, made by the same manufacturer, with the same USB 3 super speed ports. The monitor flickers at times on the old laptop but it works almost perfectly on the new one, allowing me to use 4 monitors at once (the laptop monitor, a hdmi tv, a dvi monitor, and a miracast over wifi to another laptop)

A bit pricey, but needed for second monitor in home office.

So, Most laptops now a days have these Micro HDMI ports, which are absolutely awful after a month of use. So my 2,000$ laptop was pretty much not useable in this way. I bought this hoping I wouldnt have to sell my laptop to get something more stable for a DJ business, and it works flawlessly. Every time it comes up, performance is great, and no tiny flimsy port to worry about.

Quality product, works works for external devices, easy to use!

I was trying to get a USB-HDMI converter. My hope was to convert an external camera into a webcam of sorts. There is no description saying that this is output only though. After buying it and not having it work for what I needed I was able to get in touch with someone that told me it was output only. The device works well as an output but I give this three stars because there is a very limited amount of information on the device and getting in contact with someone is difficult. Highly recommended if you are trying to hook up an external monitor!

I bought this for my wife for her work from home setup. Her All-In-One PC didn't have an external monitor connection. Adding this and a monitor we already had, allowed her to have a dual-monitor setup. Of course, we replaced the PC 2 months later, that has HDMI outputs. But, it did what she needed while she needed it.

Still works without a usb 3.0 port. I needed this for working from home and it was a life saver. It even came with a hdmi to dvi adapter as well. Considering that extra piece this product is a very good value.

I have a all in one desktop and wanted a second monitor for when I work on spreadsheets and this adapter works great. I do not recommend it if you want to watch movies though because the image lags and doesn’t keep up with the audio. At first I thought it was my internet connection but when I would moved the movie over to my desktop screen it was perfect.

No complaints about this item! If you need an extra monitor but dont have another hdmi port, this will get the job done. Ive tried a couple of other adapters purchased from Amazon, but none have worked. Took my chances on this adapter, and it works! Sound and picture quality is perfect.

Great product for some older laptop with limited connections Easy to use

I have an older laptop and wanted to connect (2) external monitors. I was able to connect one via HDMI and the other I used this external video adapter - it worked perfectly, no issues.

I used this with my Macbook Pro and one of my 3 external monitors. All my other video input sources were taken up besides one of my USB inputs. So I decided to get this to use that USB input to convert to HDMI so i could connect my Macbook Pro to my last remaining external monitor. It worked like a charm, and the video quality was great.

Needed a third screen for giving Online Zoom seminars. Have an older flat screen monitor that still works but this would not connect properly. Finally switch this device to new smart tv and direct HDMI to older monitor and it works great. Insignia support could not help.
