Customers are saying
Customers are delighted by the Tabletop FM/HD Radio's excellent sound quality, ease of use, and good reception. Many appreciate its compact size and the inclusion of HD radio. However, some users note that the battery life could be improved, and the lack of AM radio is a drawback for some. A few also mention that the volume and controls could be enhanced for better usability.

Nice radio
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great low priced option for HD radio. Perfect for listening to music at work. Radio is thin, so it takes up so little space in my desk. Sound quality with built in speaker is ok but I plugged in my computer speakers and it sounds great!

Wow radio!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This little radio sounds incredible! I wanted something to put on a shelf in the bathroom so I could listen to the news when showering. This fits the bill really well. Plenty of volume that is clear with no distortion. The only very small minus for me is that I wish the power adapter was right angle where it plugs into the radio for a little more compact footprint. Other than that I am really enjoying it. You will not be dissapointed.

Great eveywhere except my office
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the radio to use in my office instead of my phone. Unfortunately, my office is too far inside the building and I don't get any reception. I got really good sound everywhere outside of it though.

Countertop radio that delivers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Turned on the radio, receives strong reception, crystal clear sound. The display is large for readability; the blue background is soft.

83 y.o. mom has her classical station!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for my elderly mother so she could listen to her HD2 classical public radio station in Maine. I was able to successfully program it and she is able to use it based on a two step process. You cannot turn it on to an HD2 station. It always turns on to analog (regular band) first, even with pre-programming set to HD2 stations. The print on the control buttons is very tiny and difficult for a normal person to see. The buttons are also small for older fingers to use. There are no pre-set buttons so you have to scroll through all your pre-sets to get to the one you want. The slim shape is nice. It was affordable and produces nice sound. I only wish it were "senior friendly". It is a much better option than her continuing to be angry at Maine Public Radio for creating HD Classical and then not having a regular station in her area. Nobody wants an unhappy 83 year old mother!

Prefect radio for the kitchen.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A good and small tabletop radio. It stands on the kitchen counter and has a BIG radio sound. Does not take up a lot of space and looks high-tech.

Nice radio with limited volume
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, it's an improvement over current FM radios b/c it has "HD" capability. It's about time. There are many stations broadcast HD. However, there just isn't a lot of radios that have HD receive capability built in. Listened to a station in Los Angeles, KUSC @ 91.5 with only "one" bar on the signal meter. That's amazing b/c the transmitter is 98 miles away using the builtin whip antenna! Not full quieting but pretty impressive. However, the volume is low even at full setting so it is best used inside where ambient noise is at a minimum. Outside it is almost useless. All things considered it's four stars.

Great HD Radio...(Quality sound and reception)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do like this HD Radio. The radio has very good sound quality. About the only thing that I do not like about the radio is that the top controls are very small and very sensitive. The controls are all located across the top and are difficult to select and keep on the station that is selected. I would like to see a larger selection of HD radios on the market with the ability to pick up digital stations right off the air.

Nice design, easy to use at night
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Stable base. Buttons push downward, so reduced risk of tipping it over. With the lighted screen you don't need to turn on a lamp at night in order to change stations or volume level. Cons: Even with the screen dimmed down, I found it too bright at night for sleeping. I covered it with a small cloth. No dedicated input jack for an additional antenna. Idea to increase signal strength: Initially the signal strengths for the 2 stations I listen to were weak. They flipped between HD and analog. I plugged in an old set of headphones to the auxiliary input jack (leave source in tuner mode). I found a spot on the wall to hang the earphones that increased the signal strength by two additional bars. The HD signal is now stable for both stations. Not elegant, but it is functional.

good HD radio
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the radio is good and straightforward setup and good sound. The only drawback is that the radio will not start on a higher HD channel....it has to start on HD1 and be advanced to HD2 or 3. Minor handling problem acceptable with other strengths.
