This seems to be the same situation. You are not going to get stereo quality but it is a great price and serves your needs.

HD radio is superior to a standard FM tuner. This product is easy to use without consulting instructions. If you like listening to the radio at home and don't want to spend $75 to $150 for a simple HD radio, then this is a good option.

Spend a couple of bucks and discover that a few broadcasters are giving you not one, but up to three digital stations on one frequency. We've found a new station on HD2 that plays some great oldies. Now I'm hunting down a good Jazz station. This radio will deliver good reception and decent audio quality for most patio or office listening. Give it a chance and find a new favorite station or two.

Most radio's where I work struggle to pick up stations but this one does fairly well. I work in a cube farm and it allows me to listen but not blow out my neighbors.

The FM reception is fine and it's nice to have the HD option for available stations. I also wanted something that has an Aux In option so I could plug in a Chromecast Audio and play the same music I'm listening to in other rooms at the same time. This unit works fine for this. Only minor issue is that when plugged into AC power, there is a high-pitched whistle from a ground loop (goes away when powered by batteries). The noise is only noticeable when music is NOT playing, so not a deal breaker. Nice to have one device I can easily switch between regular FM and aux input.
