Poor in rural areas would be putting it mildly, and with no external connections available, you're stuck with the post antenna. Not even foil can help!

I was in a somewhat rural area and did not get any smaller stations either. Overpriced for a simple radio but the design looks nice and it's simple for those who don't utilize Bluetooth
