That was the primary objective for the purchase and it was assumed a portable radio would be all access.

Radio will not hold charge on batteries. Have gone though 2 sets of new batteries in one month using the radio sporadically,. A few hours maybe 2-3 days per week. Low battery setting shows up and the radio turns off. Expected better quality from Best Buy. Very Disappointing.
