I bought this radio to listen to while at work, and for the most part it does its purpose pretty well. The reception and sound is pretty good and being able to switch through the multiple HD broadcasts for certain stations is a plus. What I dont like is having to cycle through the presets every time i want to change the station. However, this is more of a bother than an issue. Also the Antenna seems a bit wonky. It seems to be pretty loose and I feel it may get worse the more I move it around. Aside from this, so far so good.

I bought this radio to have by my side as I worked. It was very portable and I would take it with me as I moved from place to place in the shop. It put out a very good sound for its relatively small size. Sadly, it took one too many falls onto the concrete floor and after the last one, wound up in the electronics recycling bin. I still miss it.....

PRO: Decent reception, acceptable speakers, compact size. CON: Dark buttons all on top, hard to see what does what (I put white label stickers on them).

I wanted a small radio for my bathroom and found this one. It is a great size for what I was looking for. The sound is very clear and suits my need.

I bought this radio for when I am traveling. I stay at many state parks. I have not had any issues getting reception. My only disappointment was that it did not have AM as well as FM

Great HD sound, easy to operate, takes up very little space

It's not a bad product and sounf quality was good. My issue is the speakers were to quiet for my local drive in theater. I'll be returning it tomorrow and ordering something more powerful.

The sound quality is very good for this table-top portable radio. My two complaints I have with this radio is that 1. it is somewhat difficult to insert the four AA-batteries into its slot; the upper springs get in the way when trying to insert the two batteries into the lower slot, and 2. like the other reviewer's complaint, when you turn the radio back on, the radio reverts to the first saved settings, not the radio station you were listening to prior to turning off the radio. Other than those two--what I consider minor--complaints, this radio is a very good value for its price. I would recommend this radio to anyone interested in getting a portable HD radio.

Insignia works very well and has respectable reception. Nice design and good sound. Only I wish it had AM capabilities.

It's a pretty good radio it would be better if it didn't drain battery so quickly. It works OK in my home you just have to find a proper place to get a good signal. I originally bought it to play it in my car but it didn't work out because the signal was difficult to keep.

Just the right size for the space on my kitchen counter. Tone quality is good.

Good sound for its size and picks up stations well. My husband likes to listen to local sports commentators while watching games on TV so that's been its primary function.

I selected this radio for our office. It's size is small, which we needed, but it's appearance and performance is giving us what we wanted and more. Super sound and sleek looks and in case of power outage it operates on batteries. So pleased with the price, you would think it would cost more, that I am purchasing one for my home.

Eats batteries for breakfast (and lunch and dinner). Does receive HD stations if they're strong enough. Audio quality is mediocre, Through headphones, a little better. Analog FM is noisy and exhibits some weird sort of noise gating that's annoying. Tuning is more difficult than it needs to be.

This radio is able to clearly receive the signals of stations that other radios do not, provided the antenna is in the right direction. The rechargeable AA batteries that work well with it are the Energizer brand. The stereo sound is clear and crisp.

My NPR station went digital, and now I can get all three channels with this radio. Easy to use, decent sound, and small size. After I had the first one for six months, I bought another so I can listen in the house or in my "clubhouse" outdoors.

We wanted a portable, digital radio with station memory. That was harder to find that we thought. This is just what we wanted so it was appropriate for the $40 price. Its a little heavy, but that prevents it from being knocked over (how our last radio broke). It takes a bit to figure out the memory buttons, but its simple once you do. The only small fault I could possibly find is that the buttons on top are black and hard to see. We painted the few we use regularly and that's solved that minor problem. It is FM only, no AM radio. It comes with the AC plug so you don't have to use the batteries if you are someplace with an outlet. We've been using it both ways for two months now and the batteries still read full on my battery checker. I thought $40 was a little high for an FM radio, but its just what we wanted so I feel comfortable with the purchase now.

I needed a small radio with good reception and a auxiliary plug . We have a medium size office and the sound is very clear. Everyone is pleased . No regrets .

HD Radio is largely overlooked, but some of the content available on the sidebands of some FM radio stations rivals Sirius/XM without incurring cost. Only an HD radio receiver will bring in these stations, and the sound of this radio, in spite of its size, is great! The price is right, too.

Brought this radio for my husband hospital room. It’s small and compact. It was a great gift . The price was very responsible, I didn’t think they made them anymore but Best But had this radio and it does everything I need it to do.
