Customers are delighted by the Tabletop FM/HD Radio's excellent sound quality, ease of use, and good reception. Many appreciate its compact size and the inclusion of HD radio. However, some users note that the battery life could be improved, and the lack of AM radio is a drawback for some. It's a nice compact, sleek radio. It sounds really good for it's size. Suggested use in a garage, or shop where there is no wifi access.

Good little radio. Perfect battery operated for outside use. We got ours to listen to the sound at a local Drive In Movie during Covid and it was perfect for that purpose. Only complaint is that the volume controls could go louder but if you hear well, that shouldn't be an issue. Just wouldn't purchase it for an elderly person!

I returned this radio 2 days after my purchase; yet the reasons could be highly personal. First, it is big in size and inconvenient to carry to outdoor settings; second, it don't like its LCD display of blue screen with white letter, I expect the display to be bright and more inviting; third, memory function is not so useful and practical as you may anticipate, say if you save 9 favorable stations and today you would like to get started with Station 7, can you jump directly to that? fourth, “aux in” function is almost useless, radio itself has good sound, however when used as a speaker connected to other electronics its performance instantly turns disappointing and dissatisfying. Nonetheless, I'm not dissuading anyone to buy it, instead I'm just offering my honest opinion about this product.

I bought this as a red tag item and have never regretted it. There are channels out there that play music, w/o commercials. YouTube commercials were killing me so I found this radio on line and for less than $50, I have what FM radio was meant to be, on-going with out the phone numbers repeated over and over in big name products. This goes on, you select your stations and you listen. I also like the blue light and white letters. yeah, things like that make the radio even better. I have no technical spec advice for you, I'm low tech and just wanted uninterrupted radio and I have it. C ya

Good small HD setup. Plays a lot of stations in very clear sound. Has an adapter plug so you can save on batteries. Works with earphones.

I bought this on a lark. HD radio is exceedingly expensive and for a technology run by company called “Ubiquity”, it’s really not. The sound quality and choices of stations are great and the radio does exactly what I want. It’s slow to dial into a station but I suspect that has more to do with the HDR tech than the radio itself. Would I buy another HD radio enabled machine? No but a fun experiment.

The only classical music station available in Houston is on HD radio so I had to buy one. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it highly. The radio is easy to use, the sound is very good and the price was right.

The radio actually deserves 5 stars because of where it has to deliver reception. We live in a very rural area and only get a limited number of radio and TV channels. And the radio is in a big metal barn where my wife spends much of her day working with her horses. She LOVES her radio and listens ALL the time. The antenna works great under tough conditions and brings in NPR: her favorite station.

This table top radio does the job for me. Good quality sound & reception. It is my second one as I managed to damage the first one but I didn’t hesitate to buy the same radio again. Happy camper.

I previously purchased another radio and the sound quality wasn't very good, so I returned it in exchange for this Insignia HD radio. So glad I did...the sound quality was much, much better. I also prefer the digital tuning like this radio has instead of the manual dial. The only thing I don't really like so much is the preset button takes you back to the first channel in your preset line-up rather than to the next channel that would be next in the presets (if that makes sense). This was purchased to use during power outages, but the sound quality & HD channels are great so we'll be listening to it often. Happy with my purchase!

I bought this radio a few weeks ago I like the performance of the radio. I was amazed to how it can pick up distant stations very easy even when they are next to stronger station. It has a line in for your I-Pod or other device. The only downside i that the display fades even with the power cord plugged in. It's great buy for the price. For me I plug it into my Bose Sound Link Mini for a really good sound. Insigina, if you do any upgrades to this product may I make a few suggestions keep the FM the same but add AM (you never know when you might need to get information like hurricanes or other storms) where AM might be the only one broadcasting any news while most Fm's might be off the air. 2. Add a line out so it can be hooked up to any amp for loudness and sound you have a line in have one out. 3. Add an external antenna out jack, remote control and last keep the display full bright when the power cord is being used batteries I can see to save batter power. Ever since I bought my first Insignia Tv some 9 years ago I have been very pleased with all the TV's I have bought from you. You might even add bluetooth everything seems to be going that way. I know that it would jack the price up getting the extra HD radio is really cool.

After having HD radio in my last two cars I was really noticing that my regular radio in the house did not sound as good. I was thrilled to find a table top radio that has HD broadcasting. You have to try it to hear how much clearer the sound is. Very pleased with this purchase.

The primary reason for this purchase was for hooking up to external speakers when going to Drive-In Movie theatres. For that purpose, this was a great buy. However, the sound quality of the unit as a standalone is relatively basic (tinny sounding speakers). Reception is excellent, pulls in all expected FM HD and non-HD stations that cover my area in a suburb of Philadelphia. This unit does not include an AM tuner, so if you are looking for AM and FM, this is not the radio for you.

I purchased this to give me music in the bathroom. It is a little larger than I would like, but fits in the corner of my countertop. It is very adept at finding HD radio channels which brings great quality sound. It has 20 or so presets to save favorite channels. The only negative I have is that you must cycle through the presets one by one, using only the station number to identify the station. For me the reception is not too good, but that I believe is more related to my building than the radio.

Wives favorite radio station moved to FM HD. No radio is the house could receive. This radio fit the bill. Cost was good. Sound is good. Takes up little room. It just fit the bill.
