Good HD quality sound and picks up stations easy..

This is a great little radio. It picks up HD channels. The packaging says up to HD-3, actually it gets more. I pick up HD-4 signals. The sound quality is fine considering its a single speaker device. The low price tag makes it a sweet deal.

Great HD radio! Owned the previous portable HD radio and really miss it. This model is wonderful for the home and small enough for outings.

This radio easily finds the channels. The controls are intuitive and easy to use. If you need a small desktop/portable radio buy it.

Was looking for a FM Radio that provided HiDef channels. And this Insignia version does the trick. I was able to pick up the HiDef sub channels for WBZ-FM off 98.5-3 as well as 96.1-2 for 80's hits all the time. Some other hi-def channels also provide all talk. This is in the Boston area, so your reception may vary

We used this weather radio for a couple of months then it stopped working. Not sure what happened. But it was good while it lasted!

Radio is good for what it is. It would make a good kitchen or workbench radio. My original plan was to use this in a bedroom, but I decided to go with one with a bit more functionality and use this guy in the garage instead. Sound is acceptable and display is easy to read.

This radio is amazing. It has great sound quality with the HD Radio features, also can be used by batteries or by A/C plug so it's ideal for traveling.

This is a Christmas gift for my sister She has been wanting to replace her HD radio I had a hard time finding one for her

The radio has a good antenna, and receives HD channels well. Unfortunately, the speaker and volume output could be better with the advent of small speaker technology. It would have been nice to have Bluetooth connectivity as well; but Best Buy didn't have much of a selection in small HD tuners. This one was one of two they offered, and the second choice was not in stock.

Purchased to use at the drive-in movies since they broadcast the movies over FM frequency and I don't want to sit inside the car to watch (or drain my car's battery) The sound is impressive for its size, more than adequate for my use case, I can clearly hear all dialog

Wanted a replacement for my kitchen radio that had radio station pre-sets since I like to go between various music types and found this FM/HD radio with pre-sets. I was pleased since I could now listen to the oldies HD-2 stations I like in the whole house (I have an HD radio in my bedroom). A plus is that the radio can run on batteries so it can play music and keep you informed in a power outage. It's lightweight, so you could carry it around if needed. The small minus is that it does not the AM band.

The sound of this radio is very good considering the size of the unit. There are preset buttons for stations that you may listen often. The only drawback is that all buttons are on the top of the radio but the drawback for me is that I set the radio on a ledge somewhat higher than normal, of course, the radio is used in my storage building where I work on projects.

I was looking for a reasonably priced HD radio to listen to a few HD stations in my area. The sound is great! The radio is very selective, not so much with sensitivity. The radio locks onto HD stations, and standard RDS channels quickly. The sound is crisp, realistic. It is worth it!

This radio was just what I was looking for. Easy to use and it sounds great.

I wanted a cheap HD radio for work and this is it. It has a decently long antenna, which is required to pick up signals where I am. It does look unsightly but that's normal right? The display is bright and is easy to read at varying heights and angles. It has 20 presets available. The speakers don't sound that great but it's on par with these types of radios. It does have an Aux input and a headphone output (which I needed for work). It even has a battery holder in addition to the AC adapter for portability. It'd be nice if it had a memory card or USB inputs but it's not unexpected at this price. The volume button would've been better if it was a dial or round button. Instead it's a toggle up and down button that blends in with all the other buttons on the top. It does not have a remote. For my goal, this radio fit the bill.

Compact. Easy to use. Only drawback is the lack of a sleep timer

Great radio! Hard to find HD radios these days. This is a good one at a great price!

This works great for my office. Only thing I would change is the volume settings. Volume level 1 is a little too low and level 2 is a little too loud for the office environment. A manual volume control would be better. Otherwise very happy.
