Couldn’t use the touch on my watch. But the screen is strong and can absorb shocks

did not really last long on protection, crack within a month

Covers the glass but using the watch has been problematic. You now have to press harder than normal to put in things like passwords. Not sure what can be done to make this better but was not to my satisfaction.

Not happy at all two hours after they installed it it cracked on the front of my watch.

It lasted less than 3 weeks. It is glass but one hard bump and it cracks. You pay $20 for 2. They are not worth $5.

The Apple Watch Ultra 2 is marketed as having some of the most durable glass on any device out there. However, I am quite clumsy and feel like I am always banging the screen into things unintentionally! The Insignia Tempered Glass Screen Protector has come to the rescue however, and now I have peace of mind! The installation was probably the easiest screen protector install I have ever done! The entire process took all of maybe 5 minutes to complete! Simply get your screen clean with the provided materials, place your watch in the plastic guide, then peel the back off of one of the tempered glass screen protectors. From there you just line up the dots and lock the screen protector in place. Give it a good press and then remove the film that helped you install it and boom! No bubbles, and I can't even tell that I have this thing installed! Now I am confident that I will not get a ton of scratches or any damage to my device, and if I do it will be to the screen protector! Bonus? It came with two! So if I mess this one up over time I will have a backup ready to install!

It works! Impressed! I will confess I was very skeptical of this Insignia Glass Screen Protector for the Apple Watch Ultra 2. I have tried screen protectors on an Apple Watch before this and they were always noticeable, but this screen protector is invisible both to see and touch (top, bottom, side swipes - there's no 'catch' or 'unevenness' of a screen protector. In the box you g et: - plastic thing to hold your watch when you install (important!) - 2 x tempered glass screen protectors - 2 x alcohol wipes - 2 x dust removal stickers - 2 x plastic air bubble spreaders (am sure they have another name) - 1 x lint cloth Installation was easy, although I did take it slow, I got it right the first time. Some advice, while the instructions tells you to remove your Apple Watch Ultra band, I also powered down the watch. Just to avoid accidentally settings something off while I was installing the screen protector. Setup requires you put your Apple Watch Ultra band and put it in the little tray, clean for dust (moist wipe, dust cloth, dust sticker) then remove the protective back coating on the screen protector and line the sticker that is holding the glass to the 4 pins on the plastic fitting tray, peel and done! Aside from a few wipes to make sure it sits smoothly and there are no residual bubbles and it's perfectly clean, clear, and responsive as if it wasn't there. I am genuinely impressed, this was less stressful than fitting a screen protector to my iPhone. I didn't even need the spare one, but glad I have it. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to give their Apple Watch Ultra just a little bit more protection.

So first thing out of the way... the black edging of the screen protector is not noticeable. I really thought it might be something I'd call out in my review but considering the edges of the screen it actually blends right in. First item of note: There's a small gap between the protector and the edges of the screen. The edge of the screen protector seems to be slightly rounded though so you won't be catching your finger on it as you swipe (which was a concern once I saw it placed) but looks like it'll be good. Generally when you have a protector that doesn't go to the lip, you get eventual lifting due to dragging your finger across the edge but from my initial interactions it seems like this one will stay down. Overall: Great setup, you get two full packages of cleaning supplies and a pretty interesting placement guide. The edges of the plastic surrounding for the protector have four little wings with holes that align with the guide that you set your watch base into. Was curious how well it'd manage to hold alignment but worked perfectly fine. Glass protector definitely adds a little shine to the surface of the watch. Without you get a little more of a matte effect but I don't find it off-putting. Maybe a slight increase in glare with overhead lights but with the angle I'm looking at it, I don't encounter it very often. Finally short of hitting it on my desk, it seems like the normal/strong screen protector we've grown to love on our phones. Interaction with the screen is snappy and there didn't appear to be any issues registering touch. Glad to have this on here just in case I ever have any force hit the face!

Using the alignment tool provided, I was able to obtain a perfectly aligned protector the first time. The install was super easy and if you have ever installed a screen protector on your phone, this one is easier and will give you no trouble. Of course, preparation is key and using the alcohol wipes to clean, the drying cloth to dry, and the dabbing tab to pick up any loose lint is required - not merely suggested. Adherence was perfect the first time with no bubbles at all. They include two protectors and the install kits of wipes, along with one alignment tool. If you screw up the first one, you have a backup to try again. So far, I cannot notice any change in responsiveness of the screen or in the brightness. There may be a bit less of glare in bright sunlight, but it is hardly noticeable. Even immersed in swimming pool depths, it has held up well and I expect it will do so even deeper when scuba diving although I have not tried that yet. I have not tried intentionally scratching it and do not plan to do so as I consider this to be a sacrificial cover. Hopefully, I will not need to use the second protector!

Typical great Insignia quality at a reasonable price. The Apple Watch Ultra screen is made of sapphire and super durable. I don’t really think you buy these because you want screen protection as they will break and or scratch much easier than the actual sapphire screen. Where I think these have value is when cleaning your watch. Smart watch screens have an oleophobic coating applied to prevent fingerprints. It’s that coating that can scratch or wear out when sanitizing your watch with alcohol wipes or other cleaning methods. Using protectors like these protects that coating and allows you to just remove it and put another one on when the coating wears off the protector. It’s also more effective on glass than on sapphire so you will have less fingerprints and smudges regardless using these. It’s a debate that can be argued either way. They aren’t necessary but I use them because I can visually see that my watch looks better still after multiple screen swipes so it’s really up to you. They also include an installation tray which makes it basically effortless to install one correctly.

Love these! They are a gift for my husband to go with his new Apple Watch. We’ve used them before for coverage and it’s been great so wanted to keep with a quality product for his new tech.

This hands down is a superior product. I purchased a more expensive brand and it bubbled up same day. It was 4x more expensive and this is works best.

These Insignia screen protectors for the Apple Watch Ultra (49mm) are well made, and seem to be a durable glass protector to avoid scratching my Apple Watch Ultra's screen - But with the Ultra's screen glass made of Sapphire Crystal already, and having a guarded edge, where the glass is embedded in a durable titanium frame, this seems almost superfluous. I was hoping for a matte/frosted screen protector that would improve the glare resistance of the screen - Its already super bright and clear, but the glossiness inhibits the viewability in bright areas or in areas where there's a bright sky. This being glossy, the name of the game here is definitely protection - In fact, these screen protectors aren't coated like the factory finish, so the screen seems "shiny-er" than it does from the factory with them installed. This isn't a hinderance in my use, and the protection might be worth it if I'm hard on the Ultra, but with the Ultra's glass already being VERY strong and scratch resistant, I don't know if its a worthy trade-off or if the value's there. Besides finish, another issue I had with these is their thin black border - Other Apple Watches have a black glass encasement of their display, so a thin black border on the screen protector is not visible when installed. On the AWUltra, this black border stands out in contrast to the bright metal finish of the screen's frame - A strange design choice for Insignia/Best Buy. In summary, if you want affordable glass coverage and added glossiness doesn't bother your use, these are OK. If you're looking for protection that compliments or IMPROVES your Apple Watch Ultra experience, look for one of the excellent matte glass options elsewhere.
