I bought this because I was out of my preferred thermal paste(AS5) and this was what I found on the racks at my local store. I'm not exactly stressing it where it is being used, but it has continued to work fine and keeps my temperatures within range of where they need to be. I consider this to be a serviceable and affordable paste, especially if you need some NOW and can walk in to Best Buy and get it.

Computer was freezing up from CPU overheating. Reapplied the thermal compound, all better now.

Thermal paste works great, it's a very runny kind unlike AS5 though. So be careful when you squeeze it out, it usually squeezes out too much!

I would recommend this INSIGNIA thermal paste in addition to a CPU cooler fan to keep your processor nice and cool when under heavy work loads. This thermal paste can increase the lifespan of your CPU by preventing overheating. Definitely recommended! It's good to apply a fresh application of thermal paste every 6 months to a year or so as it can dry out over time.

I used this compound to restore my ps4 processor. The original compound was dried up when I cleaned my playstation so I used this to replace it. Has worked great so far.

I'm going to be real with you, I know nothing about building a PC and somebody told me that I needed this so I bought it. It kind of looks like the silly putty that you would put in between pipes... Or even like toothpaste... I had no idea that this sort of thing was hiding in computers all this time. And it's funny because you really only need like 1/50th of the amount that they give you in this but you don't really know that if it's your first rodeo. And then I found out that most people screw this up drastically by putting on too much then they have to smear it off of their processor which is the most expensive part of their computer. So isn't it hilarious that we have to cover it in goo for it to work and that's like a legit part of this process? I don't know I think it's pretty funny anyway the goo does what it's supposed to so I guess it's good

Bought this to apply to a replacement CPU for a Dell server. It tells you how much is in the syringe, but the tube is not clear, so you can't see how much paste is in there. It was plenty to use on 2 processors approximately 2in X 2in in surface area with a little to spare. The price is right, also.

It works good. There is no reason to spend a lot of money on thermal compound. I only used this because the thermal compound came off of my water cooler. It comes with an applying tool. A non needed tool, but nice to know it’s there. Don’t get this on yourself. It doesn’t wash off. I accedently made some abstract painting that won’t ever come off. Be very careful!
