Excellent product to hold a CPU to a motherboard

I only needed to use this product once for one CPU being placed onto the motherboard of the computer. I had plenty of thermal compound left over. The performance was exactly as I expected.

Yesterday I decided to install a program that checked CPU temperatures. My intel quad core Q6600 was running between 70 and 80 deg C. This morning I bought the Insignia Thermal Paste, wiped off the dust filled silicone grease where it had run out, followed the instructions on the paste insert, and reinstalled the heat sink. The temperatures are now running 39 to 43 deg C under a light load.
