I bought this thermal compound (along with thermal pads) to fix a friends PS4 that was presumed to have overheated and died. However, after breaking down the PS4 all the way to the shell, I was able to determine that all it needed was a thorough cleaning, replacement of the thermal pads, cleaning the old thermal paste off with isopropyl alcohol from the CPU and spreading the new thermal compound with the included spatula. In my research, the effectiveness of thermal compounds for gaming console CPUS seems to be negligible depending on the brand and cost. Most thermal paste brands are literally the same compound with a different label. Basically there's no reason to buy a super high priced thermal compound simply for a PS4 or Xbox. My friends PS4 is now DEAD quiet and in perfect running order. All for less than $20.00 Hope this helps!

I had to replace the heater block on my 3D printer and needed a thermal paste for the heat break. I found this product online and it was at my local Best Buy and I wanted to get my 3D printer back up and running again quickly. This thermal paste has worked excellent for me.

Bought it and didn't even know if I needed it. I didn't, at first. The CPU fan I had it was already pre-installed. But then I changed fans and was able to utilize it. Probably will never need it again, but it was there for me when I needed it and was easy to use.

Good container, easy to apply, has been working great for over a month

Insignia is probably Thermaltake or somebody and it is a perfect fix to the overheating. If your laptop is over 5 years old I would clean and reapply this no regrets.

Recently had a power supply go bad so I decided to pull the everything from the case and clean it. When I went to clean the cpu I discovered my artic silver 5 had dried in the tube. It was several years old. Luckily BB had this on hand and it works like a charm

This is a good one for one of my old laptop and my Xbox. This worked wonders and has helped my devices remain cool which wasn't the case even when running some minor processing power applications.

Had no problems with it. It wasn't lumpy, or separated, and applied without issues. Best part. I didn't have to wait for it to ship. This is why I prefer Best Buy to online buying. I needed it now, and I got it now.

You may see different pastes at exaggerated prices, but I’ve used this one many times building PC’s and have never had an issue - it does what it’s supposed too, it’s affordable and generally easily accessible.

I have used this on multiple types of chips and has done a sufficient job on all of them . Don't be worried of buying a insignia brand for this . It is great that they stock these in stores to buy when you can't wait for shipping .

Used this thermal paste on my old laptop CPU which was running hot. Immediately could see the difference with just a tiny bit application. Highly recommend it.

It basically performs the same as Arctic Silver-mx4, it was decent for what I could get in the local area since I wanted to replace the thermal compound on one of my systems and wasn’t staying in New York for very long. But it still works well and keeps thermals moderately low; around 30-60 degrees Celsius depending on what cooking solution you use.

Working on a friends PC and noticed that he hardly had any thermal paste. So glad Best Buy had it in stock. Paste was easy to use and applied to the processor with ease. Still have tons left over. Applicator was great

This thermal paste seems to be identical to another name-brand silver-based paste, and it is not only a touch cheaper, but also much easier to obtain without having to wait!

So far I don’t see any issues with this thermal paste compared to other brands. My liquid cooling unit is still affixed to the top of the processor and there aren’t any abnormalities.

It gets the job done. That might sound simple enough, but anyone that's ever shopped for anything that's supposed to work knows that's more than enough.

This is a great option if you repaste lots of devices, the tube is also enough to paste 10 times or more, depending on your application. Not anything that will win awards, but its "get the job done" kind of paste. It can be a little thinner than some pastes.

I did dust cleaning and replacing a brand new cooling fan and putting new paste for heat sink, I am happy to say this is the most affordable product that is worth keeping

Great product does the job well. Only needed for a one time use replaced my motherboard the life on them aren’t the greatest but it did the job great and everything is running smooth!

It's thermal paste. It does what it is supposed to do and prob more than you'll need for quite awhile unless you are building a lot of different rigs
