Inadequate Tilting Mechanism

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought two of these Insignia Tilting TV Wall Mounts, one for an older 57" TV which weighs 80 lbs. The other for a new 85" TV weighing in at 96 lbs. This product is easy to install (make sure you find the center of your wall's studs) and I'm confident it will support the weight of these TVs. So why the 2-star rating? Quite simply, the feature meant to set the angle of the tilt does not work. Large and heavy TVs weigh too much. The bottom of the TV ends up resting against the wall. If you don't want that you will have to cobble together some means to hold the lower edge of the TV away from the wall.

Last trip to that store no one acknowledges you need help and basically stated I don’t work in that dept . Did not even attempt to call for help I had to look for assistance while they were huddled in groups talking.
