This has both converter and adapter and works for all countries. Best thing yet. Last time didn't realize that a converter would be needed for hair dryer. Blew out new dryer first day..

A good converter

It worked very well while I was on vacation. The converter has two outlets, one for 110v and one for devices that can automatically switch from 240 or 110v. The converter is heavy and with tips attached sticks out the socket. The device works great.

I highly recommend it.

Also, the unit wouldn't power an appliance that did not need voltage regulation, so the outlet was left unused.

A Bit Heavy, but Effective

This version is fairly compact, and the rectangular shape makes it easy to tuck into a small space. We were able to select the two adapter plugs that we would need for our trip, and leave the rest behind. It did add a bit of weight to our bag, but that's true of all converters. We'd recommend it.

We did have some trouble keeping the converter in the outlet in South America as it was heavy enough to fall out of the outlet. Otherwise worked well.
