It is that is some places same additional adaptor was needed to make it not fall (in Europe they have inward indention in the built-in plug and the prongs were not long enough). In most cases only the prong extension would be sufficient as US chargers are good for 110-240 volts. But for some devices like air blowers, converter is needed

I ended up going for something on Amazon that was significantly smaller. I would recommend this if you don't mind things being a little bulky.

Great for recent overseas trip

I was happy to learn that my cell phones and other electric/electronic devices needed just the adapter and not the converter. Still, I brought along some extension cords and used both with no problems. Would recommend!

It was concerning that due to its size and weight, it might not stay plugged in, but it did. Our traveling companions did not have the same luck that we did and ended up borrowing our converter often becuse their converter often DID pull out of the socket.

It wasn’t quite a snug fit in the hotel outlets for some reason but still worked fine, and we just propped a little book under it to make ourselves feel better. The bag that comes with it proved essential as we changed cities/hotels several times during the trip. I gifted it upon returning home to a comrade moving to Europe.
