    I needed an adapter for my computer to take to Australia. This one said it works in Australia and would accept any type of plug. But no. It will not accept any type of grounded plug from the USA. I took it back for a refund. It is also very expensive. Not great quality. I ended up buying a much better adapter from the duty-free cart on the plane for $8,.

    Bottom line, the adapter works and $20 isn't a bad price for it. There are a few minor issues though. a.) it feels rather cheap (because it is) and the sliding mechanism gets caught sometimes. b.) I had to force the three prong plug on my laptop into the adapter and it came out slightly bent.
