The issue with this device is the main voltage adapter does not have socket for a 3 pin plug. It only allows a two pin plug to be connected.

I used this travel converter for straight iron and hair dryer but did not work well. It flickers and does not support my small appliances.

This is a good quality product with all the features I needed (and more) for the country we visited, and was obviously fully-featured enough to help with travels to most other countries where electrical systems are not compatible with the electrical items we bring from the USA. It worked great.

Awkward, bulky. Stopped working after the first use. Would not recommend this at all.

Wasn't able to consistently plug my cord into the adapter, as if I was plugging it in wrong. Couldn't afford this going overseas. Wasn't just me trying this.

I purchased for a trip to Germany, I had picked a different version but the sales associate recommended this (more expensive) version over my initial choice. This converter could not charge my cell phone or computer. My colleague had a converter similar to my initial choice and it worked great, I had to borrow it each day to charge my devices. I will be returning this and exchanging for the original choice.

This did not serve the purpose as it didn't come with a 3 pin plug. (to charge my laptops)

if you are just needing one plug it serves that purpose. i wish it had a 3-prong outlet. it's kind of pricey for only having one outlet.

Converter got hot and appliance got super hot as well, when trying to use a small iron.

We recently made a trip to Italy and used this transformer to charge cameras and laptop. Did great in keeping everything ready for sightseeing everyday out. Multi plugs made it easy. Looking forward using again, maybe next year to England. Best Buy had the best price after shopping around.

Bought this so my wife could travel in China and have the adapters she needs. She couldn't get them to work.

It did not work very well it was not secure in the wall plug. I used it with a straightening iron and it didn't get as hot as it should have.

The European adapters worked just as expected. The voltage converter was unnecessary as it happened as all of our devices were compatible with either 120 or 240 volt systems, so a less expensive option would have worked.

Did not work in Switzerland. This was really the reason I bought it. I don’t think this thing will work either in Germany

Works well went to Europe and plugs came in handy. Thank godess for these convertrrs

After an hour the device became very hot and after a a couple hours shorted itself out.

Worked well; only thing that would be nice if directions were more informative and transformer and how to use it with what devices.

It was ok. It worked the first time but it stopped after.

The insignia travel adapter/convertor I would say it works just as an adapter. Besides converting from 220 to 110, it does not support the high setting (up to 1875W) as it says. Some Best Buy technicians are not capable to advise the customer. This burned out my nespresso vertuoline!

I will say that this a well made product but it did not get a 5 star review because I thought it was overpriced.
