Adapter plugs would not accept my US plugs

The adapters that I should have been able to plug my iPhone charger into to use the German power without the converter would not work. The adapter would plug into the wall, but I could never get my IPad, iPhone or Nikon battery charger to plug in.

It blew up two of our cellphone charging units and almost burned out the computer power supply. We discontinued use of the device after just 15 minute of computer use because the computer power supply was overheating and making a buzzing sound.

It had the proper adapters but didn’t seem to convert energy properly. Took literally 8 or more hours to charge my iPhone and we had 5 devices we needed to charge. The overheating didn’t give me peace of mind either. Felt dangerous.

The adapters ONLY work with the converter, so you can't use them as plane adapters. No grounding. On a 3 week trip to two countries I was able to usenit zero times. I have it away to a local at the end rather than haul it back to the states.

Transformer that is convenient
