Waste of money

Although the converter inticated that it could be used in Africa, I quickly discovered when I arrived in Africa that it wasn't of any use and had only added weight to my luggage. I would NOT recommend.

It would not allow me to plug into the European outlets and then would not let me plug my US plugs into it, even though it is advertised for European travel. I had to go to the hotel desk at each country to get adapters that would work. Very useless devices.

Plugged in my CPAP into it as it draws very little current. It worked great the first night. The second night it quit. I went to the hotel desk and bought a cheap $6 one and it has been working fine for several days.

They never worked consistently in any of the three locations I visited. I had to borrow from three other folks on the trip and theirs worked fine every time. Do not buy this product if travelling to the UK.

This is my fault for not double checking. The question is why even make a converter that does not have support for 3 prongs especially when laptop cords require it.
