I was so excited to find this at Best Buy. I opened it as soon as I got home. After I had already opened it I saw that I could almost get three for the price of this one. I then took this snorkeling and within three minutes my brand new $500 camera was falling to the bottom of the ocean. Luckily I was able to dive down and get it but it could have been much worse.

It’s ok for the price. Had to buy an extra wing nut to attach it to my GoPro. It doesn’t come with one.

It only lasted about two weeks, considering I didn't touch it much, I tried to move it and the top part came off.

Needed the tripod thread adapter for a goPro so I could mount it on a stand with a 1/4-20. Works great! Good price too.

Worked well for what I needed it for. But the build quality is not so good came apart had to glue it back together.

Salesperson sold this to me... only need it if you have a GoPro. My Sony mounts without this contraption.

... but only temporary and do not trust with an action camera.

I was looking to use this to attach my GoPro to a tripod. Did not work with Silver3.

Don't buy this adapter. The metal screw is knurled where it goes into the plastic body, and that's all that holds it in. It pulled out while I was tightening it to the camera. Fortunately, this happened while I was testing it, and I didn't lose the camera.

First one I got broke inside the first 10 hours. After being really careful with the second one, it broke within a week. When attaching a camera to the threads, tightening causes the metal screw to break free from the plastic. Which is only being held in by friction and a small amount of glue.

Maybe I misunderstood how this mount works with the GoPro camera but it needs a nut to keep the screw in place with the mount & brackets. My dad had one in his garage so problem solved but strange it doesn't come with one.

Worked for a short period and fell apart in 2 months. Originally got it to use with GoPro and ended up using with an older digital camera. I would not recommend this.

I have an underwater and and surface cameras and my dive light which i can now use on a gopro extention stick. stick it in openings underwatering or surface with light amd camera.

Note that this is to mount a regular camera to a GoPro mount, I initially thought this was to mount a GoPro to a regular camera tripod based on the name. Does what it says.

I intended to use this so that I could mount my Hero 6 on a tripod but could not connect and my typos need to screw into it not the other way around.

Great and good price like that this allows me to use all my GoPro products with my point and shoot camera and iPhone

I bought this item to replace a broken part for video light. It fit the design of the double loops so for me, it was great.

Spend the extra cash and go for the official Go pro mount. The threaded part easily pulled out of the molded plastic mount causing my camera to fall to the ground.

Would not buy again. Being made of plastic the 1/4-20 screen does not tightens properly. Thru mine away and bought an aluminum one that works perfectly.
