I haven't used it much because I prefer natural light but when needed it performs much better than the built in flash. Being able to bounce light off the ceiling or wall works much better than pointing directly at the subject.

I have used it only a handful of times but so far it's been excellent. Easy to use with my Nikon D3000. Especially nice with real estate photography and also when taking family pictures. Well worth buying for novice photography.

Bought this for my wife. Was considering buying a much more expensive one, but after research went with this one. It works great and is super simple to operate. So glad I didn't blow cash on a name brand one.

This is one solid flash that frankly is outperforming my Nikon Flash that I paid nearly $300.00 for. It is well built, very precise & adjustable on range & has very good color rendition. My nikon broke after the one year mark & to me was not worth fixing. You can buy 4 of this unit and still break even.

Recently purchased this product for an upcoming sweet 16 that I photographed. Refresh rate was above what i expected. Note: with continued use, flash will get hot. I ran flash with one set of batteries.

I purchased this flash to go with my new Nikon camera. It works great and I like the fact that I can take it off the camera and place it close to my subject for further distance use.

The Insignia - TTL External Flash for Nikon is an excellent value. Flash output is adjustable, flash head both tilts and rotates, and integrates well with the Nikon DSLR's. Tough to beat the price too.

Excellent flash for the advanced user. Adds to capability of built-in flash to cover large areas and for fill-in. Has remote feature to use for front or side fill-in and includes stand for this use. Don't use it all the time, but when I do works great.

This flash was reasonably priced for someone who wants a little more light as a beginner.

I looked at several models on the Best Buy website and read the reviews and decided this was the best buy for the price and quality.

So far so good. Easy to use. Can't really comprehensive since it's my first external flash but I'm able to take great pics with it.

It's a good entry-level speedlite if you're on a budget. I've used it and the results on my photos were great.
