The television is mounted on the wall, so I can't comment on how sturdy the stand it will a TV. Have to keep the doors open when gaming or the consoles get too hot.

When you buy a tv this big be sure to know your measurements because our tv fits but with little room on the sides. The quality of wood feels sturdy too and not like cheap wood. It is a solid piece.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great price, very sturdy and looks great reason for the 3 star is that in the instructons it says to put the back on you need to line it up with the pre drilled pilot holes..... no pilot holes hopefully mine was a oversight in quality control otherwise you better have a drill handy and there was another piece that was lacking the pre drilled holes and i ended up splitting the wood a little bit. Lastly the door stoppers dont stay on i had to use some glue to get them to stay

Love that doors have a glass or solid option. Only complaint is that the door hinges are premounted & 2 makenthe doors sit a bit crooked.

But once assemble the stand looks good and has plenty of room underneath for cable box Blu ray and Direct tv box plus additional storage for all the booklets and warranty .very happy
