Strong stand with minimal assembly required.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is very heavy in the box due to the (3) large pieces of thick glass shelves which are sturdy. I have an LG 65" TV on this stand and it is plenty strong enough for the TV. My only (small) complaint is the flimsy plastic strap they give you to supposedly prevent tipping. It it way too thin to hold a 65" TV and I will use my own metal strap or wire to perform that function. A great stand for the money and I'm very pleased with it.

Very easy to assemble. Fits my 65" Panasonic VT50.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was very easy to assemble and required no tools (all thumbscrews). Glass is heavy and requires two people to handle it safely. Labels were easy to remove (Some folks complained about the difficulty of removing them, but the manufacturer may have changed the glue). I placed the TV on the top shelf (it weighs 110 lbs), the center speaker on the middle shelf, and 4 amps on the bottom shelf. I am not sure about the function of the top crossbar that attaches to the back of the top frame. It doesn't seem to be carrying any load. In fact there seems to be about 3/8" gap between it and the bottom of the top shelf at the crossbar's left and right ends. Perhaps it is a backup in case of deflection, or is there for appearance!

Beautiful Entertainment Stand
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even better looking in person, fits any decor. I have this in my living room, which is old colonial in decor and construction, I was worried it would look out of place but it fits great. The stand is very modern in look yet the rounded edges soften the appearance to work in this setting. If not for the Assembly Instructions I would give this item an A+. The nice thing though is that if you use the instructions only as a reference and not verbatim, it goes together very smoothly.....except for the rear support, not that it doesn't assemble correctly I'm just not sure exactly what it's supposed to be supporting. Overall I will give this a solid A. As a side note, I would say, because of the look of cable, direcTv and other items such as Blu-Ray, DVD, Gaming and sound systems, you can't avoid modern looking equipment, but this stand will soften yet match technology and comfort.

Great for a large tv.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just bought a 60 inch flat screen tv and needed a stand that was large, but not gaudy liking. Also one that could hold a good amount of weight. This covers both. I love it. Looks great and so easy to assemble. Reasonable price too, And I looked everywhere.

great value, solid stand
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this is a very good stand deserving of 4 stars. The top is 58" and easily holds my 55" TV, it would hold a 60" and possibly even a 65". If you have a lot of components, this may not be the stand for you. The legs that the component shelves sit on are staggered, so the shelves are much shorter than the top. The first component shelf is 48" and the bottom shelf is 42". The standard width for full size componets is just under 18", so you can not place 3 full size components side by side on either shelf. I have a Yahama receiver, Xbox, and Uverse cable box on the first shelf and a Wii and Sony BD player on the second shelf. This all fits easily. The stand was easy to assemble - no tools required. I did have some confusion with the back support bracket. The bar seem to be bent downward at the ends so that it was almost 1/2" below touching the glass at the very end. I agree with other people's comments about the sticker on the top shelf. I had to soak it with hot water to get the glue to come off, it took longer to remove the sticker than to assemble the stand.

black beauty
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great looking unit, easy to build and my Polk CSI-5 center channel fits nicely with room to spare. The black glass shelves make this stand look very expensive and I've had several people comment on how good it looks.

Excellent for the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's very stylish, seems relatively will built. Probably the best value for your money if you need a stand for a 60' television. I'm using it with a 60' LG Plasma and it looks incredible with the smoked glass and glossy black television. Fits GREAT in a corner because it tapers back. A couple areas of it, namely a bar on the back, seemed mis-measured in some way where they wouldn't fully connect with what they were suppose to, but it's still plenty sturdy and fully put together. For that reason and the fact that I haven't had it very long I only gave it a 4 on durability.

Good contemporary look for large flat screen
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a 60" plasma TV to replace my dead CRT projection TV and I saw this stand in the same area as the televisions. On an impulse--unusual for me--I asked them to add this to my order. I had been thinking I would buy a wall-mount, but I so liked the look of this stand and it was on sale. The package is surprisingly heavy due to the three glass shelves and solid steel construction. There is no particle board here. I was able to move it myself, but it really should be two people. Setup did not take long at all (perhaps 30 minutes). The instructions were pretty good, and there are no tools required, unless you install the optional anti-tipping mount. The steel support just folds out and the rest is mainly thumb screws and rubber suction cups. It comes with a large sticker on the top shelf that required a razor to fully remove. Once I got all of the components on it, I stood back and looked in amazement. My family room had been transformed. All of my components--TV, receiver, cable box, digital tuner, blu-ray player, etc. are all black and this stand just matches perfectly with the black steel and dark tempered glass. The width of the unit is perfect for a 60" TV. I set up my front channel tower speakers right next to it and Voila! Mucho gusto! Good-bye, 61" CRT projection TV. Hello, 21st century. The only negative I can come up with is that there is not much in the way of cable guides, although there is a hole in the back panel to run your wires for the middle and lower shelves. In short, I recommend this product.

Great TV Stand
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV stand looks great in our living room. I only wish the back wasn't a mesh but solid instead so it hid the wires better.

cheap and cheefrul stand
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is probably the cheapest stand for a 60" plus tv where the tv isn't precariously hanging off the edges of the stand. It has a clever set up for all the cords in the back, open but with some definition. Basically its utilitarianism at its best. Its a cheaper and easier way to avoid mounting a big tv on a wall. If you live where I do mounting a 60" tv on your wall probably means the structural integrity of the apartment is compromised, so this is also your only option. If you have deep pockets and discerning taste keep looking, if your an average guy who wants something that works, this is it.
