Customers have good things to say about the TV stand's easy assembly, sturdy build, and ample storage space. Many appreciate its attractive design and the color, while some mention that the size is perfect. However, a few customers noted concerns about the weight and the glass top's susceptibility to scratches and showing smudges. The depth of the shelving was also mentioned as a potential drawback by some.

After purchasing this tv stand as part of a gift and setting it up (yes, easy as others state), I open the door to find the wood frame is cracked. Call Insignia to get a replacement door and am told I must return the whole thing to BestBuy because stocking replacement parts is “not our business model”. Nice. So if I happen to break a door or crack glass shelf 6-months from now I am SOL and cannot get a replacement. So since I had driven 3 hours to deliver this present, I ask what my alternative options are and am literally told to “call a carpenter”. Nice customer support. So I buy a second one, have it shipped to me and yes it too arrives with broken door. Now, this isn’t just a shipping issue. The glass shelves are fine. The door frame construction is cheap as evidenced by the lame metal brackets attempting to make up for not using mortise and tenon joints. I will NEVER buy another Insignia product now that I know they don’t stand behind their products.

While I like the product, I am sorely disappointed by the damaged parts. The worst of the damage is shown in the picture. The other stuff is some minor scuffing.
I am not sure if I will return it, repair it myself, or just live with it. If this thing weighed half as much as it does, I would definitely be returning it.

The picture does not do this justice. It is not only nice looking but also very well built. If you ever watched tanks the show about fish tanks on animal planet, that is the only way i can explain what the frame is made out of, just look at the frame of one of those tank stands, im serious, amazing quality. Probably would hold 800lbs no problem. The only cheap wood is on the sides and even that is still nice looking. Every thing is put together in the box there is 4 or 5 steps to putting this thing together that in itself is worth the price tag. It literally comes out of the box, if you can pull a ladder apart to stand on you can put this together. Slide three pretty heavy pieces of glass in and put the glass top on and screw it down with a couple of screws with handles built on them basically and thats it. Another nice thing is that you def can take this apart if needed and put it back together without destroying it. I literally cant believe how much effort they put in to make this strong and nice looking and easy to put together. I would say its only downfall is that this beast is heavy. I literally carried this in from my car (2011 jetta tdi) and only had to walk 15 ft total and i was spent. Hands down the best built piece of furniture i have ever seen no question about it. One other thing i forgot the first hole from the top is for a sound bar which is something i didnt realize i needed till i had it. My sound bar prior to this was behind my tv because it was too tall to be in front of it. A feature i never thought to look for. Plenty of room for any sound bar.

I was a little intimidated and hesitant to purchase this and put it together. Based on past experiences, a box can have a thousand pieces inside. Luckily, this did not and was very easy to put together. Instructions were pretty easy also. It took my son and I about 40 minutes to put together. It also looks great!

This is a heavy, solid piece of furniture. It has a metal frame and tempered glass shelving and top. It was very easy to put together and looks beautiful when finished. I have a 55" tv and soundbar and you can't find a better stand for this setup/price. They had one on display at the store so I could see it before purchasing.

This TV stand is extremely heavy, especially the top glass plate. It was difficult to put together, but it's very sturdy and the legs have built in pads so it doesn't damage the hardwood(at least in my house.) Be aware that the glass scratches easily, but it comes with a special pen to fix that issue. It's a very good looking too and it's significantly easier to assemble when it comes to time to build(the all wooden stand took me 3 hours longer.) While it may be heavy, it's incredibly easy to put together and a good stand.

I bought this for my 65" KU6300. It sits perfectly on the stand and I love the color and how it matches my wooden flooring. I had 2 other friends to help me assemble it, but i should be easy with just 2 persons; it's pretty simple and comes with good instructions.
The package is heavy because of the glass shelves.

Stop looking elsewhere! You will not find a better tv stand. It’s elegant and looks way better than the competition IMHO. I needed a quality stand for my Sony 49” tv. I already own this stands bigger brother the Insignia NS-HWMG1663 which compliments my Sony 75” tv perfectly! It’s heavy and well built. I needed my son’s help transporting it. Again, we put it together with ease! It’s pretty much unfold, slide panels and glass shelves in and secure with screws provided in the installation kit!

Best Buy had the best selection of TV stands online. This insignia TV Stand is very stylish and well made with real wood and Glass shelves. It is quite sturdy and was not challenging to assemble. The directions were clear and all the parts were labeled well.

I needed a TV stand that was big enough to hold my home theater equipment without looking industrial. There are many available, but most are very expensive and my budget was stretched after buying the TV, Blu Ray player and receiver. Knowing that Insignia was the in-house brand for Best Buy, I wasn't expecting too much. When I assembled it, I was very surprised. The frame is strurdy metal and comes fully assembled and packed flat. Even the doors are already fitted. All I had to do was pull it into shape and secure the hinges. The glass shelves slid into place easily. The top was heavy, but two of us handled it easy enough. This unit was built to last! The only problem is the glass shelves, which have a maximum load capacity of 30 pounds. This would not be a problem for most people, but I needed to put my turntable and receiver on the same shelf, a total weight of 46 pounds. In the end, I used the bottom shelf, supporting the load with some floor tiles left over from an old project. They are not visible, so no big deal. I did not need the middle shelf, so I left it out, providing more air flow for the receiver. The result is a very elegant look for my home theater for a moderate price. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone. Just beware of the weight limits.

This is by far the best stand i ever bought ever. it never came damaged, it was well packaged but very heavy. looks much better in person. i have my 60 inch lg on it which fits perfect and my soundbar on it makes it look perfect. it took me about 30 minutes to fully assemble by myself and the instructions were clear. if your looking for a tv stand, this one is the only way to go. i plan on having it for a VERY long time. loving every bit of it and im sure you will too.

I was upgrading my TV and decided to go the extra mile with a TV stand upgrade as well. I’m not made of money so I was really trying to strike a balance of price and quality. So far, I think I found my balance. Took me 20 minutes to put it all together with relative ease. The box It came in was heavy which I was raised that that means quality. Which it was. Great look, sleek, and I’m proud to have it in my living room. Also, nice cupboards to hide my junk. Highly recommend!

When in the store and looking on the computer for a stand for my new bigger tv I asked about this but thought it was a bit expensive, then couldn't really find anything else I liked (did not want just open shelves that would show all the cords and cables) so went back to this and despite the price ordered it. So glad I did! The minute they got it put together and set up in my livingroom my first thought was "wow, this is so worth the price I paid". Rich brown in color, all the cords slip out the slots in the back and are hidden by the actual cabinet, room on top for a 40 some inch tv on one end and a small arrangement of some type on the other end. Also, the shelf right underneath holds the direct tv box and my dvd player, did I mention the top is glass, and glass panels in the two cupboards which contain two shelves, lots of room for cds, dvds, books, whatever. I was looking for a tv stand but ended up with that and a beautiful piece of furniture.

Finally, something that not only supports my new 65" TV, but looks great as a piece of furniture in the family room, and was relative easy to assemble (although was quite heavy when boxed). I have not had a lot of luck lately with other items, so I consider this a home run on my score card. Only wish they had a coffee, end table, and sofa table to match, as I need all three.

We have a 50" tv that we needed a stand for. Assembly is easy. The glass can be heavy for some. Yes, two shelves inside the doors and the top is glass. The rest of the frame is metal. There aren't many screws to put in. Just make sure you have room to assemble. The stand is sturdy. The backs have holes for cords and cables.
The only bad part is the styrofoam pieces stick all over the unit because of all the static. It can be a pain to remove it all.
Best Buy wasn't the best place to buy this unit. I bought it just by looking online and going to the store with the printout to pick it up. I never got to see it set up in the store.

I bought this online and was concerned I might have made a mistake since I did not see it in person beforehand. I have had mixed luck with these assembled TV stands in the past and was actually looking for a solid wood one first but they are pretty hard to find at a good price. Well, my speaker and xbox could not sit on the floor forever so I went ahead and purchased this TV stand.
Turns out I was plesantly surprised. Assembly is very simple as a large part of it is already assembled and "folded", you will just need to unfold, put in some bolts for stability, insert the glass, side walls and handles and you will be done. The metal was a bit off center in some spots so I had to wiggle it around and push while inserting the screws for proper alignment but it was a minor issue.
The stand looks great, feels sturdy and holds everythought you need.
