Customers are saying

Customers regard this TV stand as sturdy and easy to assemble, with many praising its design and the ample storage it provides. Positive comments also highlight its attractive appearance and ability to accommodate large TVs. While some found it heavy due to the glass shelves, and a few reported minor finish imperfections, the overall feedback is overwhelmingly positive.

We were looking at more expensive cabinet stands for the 60" TV... but were not crazy about them. Then we spotted the Insignia stand!! It looked sturdy, fashionable, liked the two doors on the side and the open spaces in the middle - great to display items or even a row of books! When it was delivered, we had paid for Best Buyer/Geek Squad to assemble it (very glad we did!) The assembly part was very impressive as it showed how good it is put together. Cost was under $300!!

We upgraded tv & in considering new cabinet saw this one. Has everything we need! Has glass top, open & closed storage, deeper shelves for our reciever, etc. which is great to have them set back a bit, with a cool wood, metal & glass mix of materials. Went together wonderfully & will stay looking great for years. We're happy we purchased, price was great for the solid quality and has a timeless, transitional style.

Great quality, and when the people say easy to set up they are not joking. Took me 15min four screw to put the handles on . The door and frame are already assembled. Nice and sturdy, great look, hides the wires. Hold my 70" LED tv great.

Attractive - easy Setup and sturdy TV stand

I liked the looks of this TV stand better than any other one I saw. It has a metal frame, wood sides with glass doors and an attractive heavy black glass top. I have had compliments on this stand. Setup is easy using threaded knobs instead of screws. You don't need a screwdriver to setup this stand. It comes mostly as one piece. You set up the main frame by opening it up from it's closed position. The cross pieces are hinged and when the frame is opened, you just screw in the locking knobs and the frame is complete. You just install the cross supports, center supports, glass shelves and top. It only takes a few minutes. (OK - a little over a half hour) The parts are well labeled in a shrink wrap package. For me, the glass top was easy to install myself. But it might be better to have 2 people. One note: The glass top goes on only one way. The front and back mounting holes in the top are spaced differently so you need to make sure it is oriented correctly. I was just lucky and put it on right the first time. The top is about 6 inches wider than my 65-inch flat panel TV. It looks good and the TV fits well. This stand is only about 19 inches deep and I have it out from the wall about 2 inches to make room for the cables. One bit of advice- attach the cables to the cable box/satellite box, etc before putting the TV on the stand. It's much easier to attach the cables before you put the stand next to the wall and have the TV on it. The black and wood stand is very attractive and sturdy. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

This is just what I was looking for. It's big and sturdy enough to hold any tv, but also has a slim and sleek look that pairs well with my other furniture. Oh, and putting it together was a snap. I definitely recommend this to anyone.

I really enjoy the two-tone black and dark brown finishes. My dining room table is the same color brown, and most of my other furniture is black (including electronics obviously) so this presents a great look in my living room/dining room. Upon completion of building the unit, I did unfortunately find a chipped front right corner as well as one on the back side. Thus, this is why they include a brown touch-up marker I guess. If you're taking the time to provide a touch-up marker, perhaps you can improve your packaging and delivery to avoid this. I actually think the packaging was decent but it is HEAVY (I could barely drag it up the couple flights of stairs by myself, was nearly drained!). All in all, think it's a great unit, my 65" 4K hanging above it looks terrific. Plenty of storage and cabinet space.

It took a while finding a stand that allowed me to put the amplifier, DVD and Blue ray player plus more important the Center speaker in side and avoid stacking that on top of a cabinet. (without paying $800 or more) The Insignia TV stand did just that and more. First of all, Ikea can learn something from Insignia regarding the assembly manual. I did it on my own in about 1 hour and everything did fit and man does it look nice. The frame is folded in the box and you just unfold it, put the bolds in, place the rubber bumpers on the right positions and lay the glass shelves on it. Last you place the glass top on the unit, fasten it and you are done. While I still need to add same cable management on the floor behind the cabinet, it looks nicely in place with the 75" Samsung Neo QLED wall mounted above it. In our setup it contains: 1 satellite receiver (FTA) 1 Xfinity DVR 1 Laptop 1 Gigabit network switch I HDMI bridge from the Security Camera's I Onkyo tx-nr7100 1 large center speaker 1 Phillips 5 DVD player 1 Toshiba Blue Ray player 1 Xfinity Flex and on top (just because you don;t want the metal fram to interfere with the signal) the Xfinity X1 and still has one empty shelf to put some DVDs or Blue Ray disks on. Bottom line if you need some space to install some A/V gear this one might just fit your bill and that at a very acceptable price

A Great Stand For Large TVs

I needed a larger stand for my new 65" TV and this stand is perfect for that. Solid and stable, it looks great and matches my Haverty's living room furniture very well. The stand was well packed and there wasn't any damage or problem. Be careful, as this stand is heavy, weighing about 125 pounds. The delivery man kindly helped me get it inside. Assembly was easy, and even though I am 70 years old, I was able to put it together by myself.

When it comes to getting this home, this stand is HEAVY! It comes in a box and needs to be assembled. However, it was one of the easier assembly jobs that I have had to do with this type of furniture. All of the hardware was included as needed. Looks great in our living room and in my opinion, looks classy. Hint: as others have stated, before installing the second tier of glass shelves and installing the glass top, begin putting your components onto the bottom shelves and do any wiring. It will simplify this process as you continue to add components.

I was a little surprised how much I liked this TV stand. Completed it feels and looks like a quality piece of furniture. Assembly was pretty easy. I'd just add the caution that there are glass plates for the top, doors, and shelves, and since they are all well wrapped it's easy to accidentally step on them, not realizing they might be fragile. Yes, I did that, but no damage done.

This Insignia tv console is very well made. It looks excellent with clean lines and style. The assembly was incredibly easy. I have assembled many other modular furniture items from companies like Ikea, Bush, etc., and was expecting the same with Insignia. However this kit was much easier. No dowels, glue, or locking cams. You open up the the frame and lock it in place with the hardware. No gluing, no hammering, no forcing things to fit. The only time a tool was needed was for 4 screws to mount the door handles. The doors are prehinged so no installation or alignment required. It is extremely well packed. Some may say over packed, but I was impressed how well the sections were protected. The glass top is heavy, and much easier to maneuver with two people. I was taking my time and finished the assembly in about 90 minutes once everything was removed from the carton. Hardware was well identified and they even include a touch up stain marker if you accidently scratch a wood section. My wife and I are very happy with this purchase.

I honestly didn't think I'd like it, it was sort of last resort as we had purchased another cabinet I really liked for more money (wasn't deep enough for the receiver.) We didn't even get to see a color picture just the plain box which truly does not do it justice! We didn't realize the top was glass as well as all the shelves! It is a really beautiful piece and fits all ofnour components perfectly! Sooooooo easy to put together, thoughtful packaging and it was already half way assembled out of the box! Very well constructed and a very solid cabinet! We are thrilled with it in function, quality, cost and looks!

It's hard to imagine a more satisfying purchase. This Insignia TV console stand is a tremendous value. It's sized perfectly for most electronics. It is flexible (rear panels come off if necessary). I use this stand only for equipment storage (Amp, AVR, B-R player, streaming devices and extra accessories) sitting under a wall mounted TV (83"). If this is your intention, too, tell the salesman. Most stands are sold based on TV size, which doesn't apply in this use. This is not an especially high quality construction. It's a remarkable effort at engineering and design which completely obscures the fact that fiber board is used in the visible panels and glass is used for all shelves and the top. The frame, which does all the support appears to be steel. It all works while looking like it costs far more. Love it.

Done my fair share of self-build cabinets over my lifetime. Bought this to go in the guest room, so was expecting so-so quality and looks for the modest price. Can say I never felt desire to have written out a review on an item, but I was so pleasantly surprised by the product. Relatively easy to put together for its size and functionality: looks and stability of metal frame and glass top & shelves, and well-precisioned pieces to put together and simplicity all came together for nice finished product. Much better than the traditional particular board and locknut "Cam" system found in this price range. The color of wood is a moderately light espresso or mahogany color - minimal if any red cherry (unlike website pics). Doing myself, roughly took about an hour from unpacking to finished product and cleaning off dust. The packaging is heavy and containing large amount of tempered glass, so be careful ... use a friend or dolly to transport. Overall, Highly recommend !!

A well-engineered product with easy fold out assembly, doors are factory installed, and fasteners have handles limiting tool use. A very attractive TV stand. My only concern is that someone would try to move the stand by lifting the glass top and break it. I put sliders under the legs to ease sliding the stand on carpet.

This fit perfectly, is well made and a lot easier to assemble than expected. The interior “frame” is made of hinges metal pieces that you just unfold into the correct shape and then add the panels to it. Much easier than most flat packed furniture.

The way it's designed with the main body basically just folding out makes assembly super straightforward and simple, but it still feels sturdy and good quality. The black glass + dark wood combo looks really nice and is easy to match with other furniture. The shelves are fairly spacious, with enough room to house a PS5 and still give it room to breathe. It fits my needs perfectly and I'm very happy with it!
