The cord is more than long enough for my use and I like that there is no separate power supply to fool with. The mounting leaves a bit to be desired in my case since mine wants to be at an angle to the wall and not stuck flat to it with the tape provided. I had to make a little stand out of a block of wood.

However, there's nothing worse than pixelated video when you want to watch a show. It does not provide a reliable and stable signal. I'm only 14 miles from major transmitter sites and Iive on a hill. I tried the following indoor locations - windows, table top and high up on a ceiling beam (8 ft up from the floor). Yes I get a bunch of stations when scanning (57 stations about 40 were SD and the rest HD). The number of stations detected is meaningless if the video is unstable. At first things appeared OK but quickly changed over the course of a couple of days. It's severely impacted trees moving in the wind and poor weather. Most HD stations broadcast in the UHF TV spectrum. This antenna simply doesn't have enough UHF gain even with the amplifier. I hoped this antenna would eliminate the need for HULU live TV but it doesn't come close. It's effectively useless and is going back today.

Not so great is that even when holding the antenna outdoors on channel scan, it still didn't even receive a local network and associated channels or the local PBS station. Claims it has a 35 mile range and we are in a suburb of Los Angeles. Never had that lack of reception with other antennae.

Because it's can't get a refund or return it, I'll have to fix and secure this through my own means. I'm a little upset about that, but the number of HD channels it makes available is pretty neat.

Plastic that does work for any receiption

I bought this for my brother in laws apartment which is somewhat space...moved it around and got no one channel or even a slight rendering of one. I took it back. I have had better luck with good old rabbit ears then this thing. It is nice and clean looking which I liked but other than looking nice it is useless.

Doesn’t work at all

I have tried numerous times searching for both had and analog channels. I live in a metropolitan area and I don’t receive a single channel. I will be returning the antenna.

Not what I hoped for in an antenna
