Customers frequently mention the excellent reception, ease of use, and good picture quality of the Ultra-Thin Indoor Plate HDTV Antenna. Many also appreciate its affordable price and compact size, making it easy to install and place discreetly. However, some customers note that signal strength can be inconsistent, and the adhesive may not always securely attach the antenna to the wall. Overall, the positive feedback on reception and ease of use outweighs the concerns about signal and adhesive.

I’ve had this antenna for years and I love it! I’ve bought one for every room in my house and friends! I get so many channels, super clear, and was super easy to connect and detect channels.

We have two of these. One works really well, clear picture, and has stayed fastened to the wall using the foam tape that came with the product. The other one didn't provide as clear and consistant a picture, but still works and does what is advertised. Even after removing all obsticles, placing near a window, and testing outside with no walls what so ever. I still recommend and rate the product highly based on the one that does work really well and the other one that simply works. I didn't go around and switch the antennas on all TVs due to attaching one to the wall already and I understand there could be other interferences affecting the picture. For the price, definitely worth purchasing and trying for yourself.

Not expensive, but seems to work well. Was connected to an old set. Do not know it's ability on a modern LED flat screen.
Uses a coax connection versus wire lugs.
Flat and thin. easy to mount on wall - could even be taped.

Easy set up. Gives a nice clear picture on each channel. Was able to pick up lots of extra channels along with the local ones. Happy that we cut out the satellite service we had and were able to get our local channels with this antenna. Images are better quality than with the satellite service.

Love that it is smaller than the other brands but delivers the same great reception at 1/3 the price. Dont be surpised if you have to move it around a little to find that perfect sweet spot where all your channels are clear, the bigger more expensive ones need you do the same thing. I put mine up with painters blue tape until I find the perfect spot.

My goodness, this little indoor plate allowed me to watch the olympics and picks up about 38 channels. I expected some channels being in the suburbs of Nashville but for $15 books??!!! This thing saves me about $1200/year over ever rising cable. Add some Netflix and amazon prime and I'm all set.

Great option to cut cable but keep local channels!

I recently made the decision to cut cable to save on expenses, but wanted to keep my local channels for the news/major networks. I looked into the Verizon local package, but they would still charge $15/month PLUS the set top box rental fee and all the regional broadcast fees (almost an extra $20 a month)!
So glad I instead bought this HDTV antenna. Everything I needed was in the box (though I did end up using command strips instead of the ones it comes with per other reviews just to make sure it stayed on the wall), no other cords needed and it doesn't plug into an outlet. It was super easy to screw into my tv, mount on the wall, and search for local channels. Now I have all the major broadcasts (NBC, CBS, ABC, and Fox) plus some extra channels, have cut cable, and don't have any issues. In one month, this paid for itself!
There as a plastic film that it didn't say to remove but I went ahead and did so; no issues there. I ended up buying a second one for a bedroom tv that was previously only used for gaming, now we can watch local channels on it as well! Highly recommend.

Bought this for my Korean not-so-smart tv in early 2021 when a neighborhood fiber installation project by a local clown school contractor damaged our internet & cable feed. After a few days of total info blackout we wanted to fall back to our TV antenna port for local stations. This antenna one was a good value and ultra-simple to install. It really responded to positioning ( improving when high on wall and facing guesstimated broadcast tower location). Picture was fine on many stations and good enough on others. In the end it took 2 weeks for the “service” provider to get us reconnected, so the antenna got plenty of use.

Just ditched cable so I needed an antenna to see local channels. This connected with ease. Searched and found about 90 crystal clear channels. Inexpensive and works well.

I wanted an affordable indoor antenna that did not require power. The product claims to have a 35 mile range and I am approximately 35 miles from the broadcast antennas by line of sight. The signal has to travel trough two walls. It does a surprisingly good job of picking up the major networks. However, some of the smaller higher frequency channels, which were previously called VHF, may require some adjustments to the antenna position. I did not stick it to a wall. I just have it laying flat, which gave me my best results.

Works great. Combination of Slingtv and this antenna will make you feel like you still have cable. Installation is easy and you just have to find the right place to mount it to get the best signal. I also like that it has two sides to make it less of an eyesore.

I live in a suburb about 10 and 30 miles away respectively from the nearest broadcasting cities. I needed an antenna to provide me with the basic cable channels (ABC, NBC, FOX, etc.) in HD that I can’t get on my firestick. This antenna works really great for what I need it to do and the price was extremely reasonable. I’ve mounted it about 7’ high on my wall and placed it near a window. No complaints!

Slim design and easy to setup up. Get tons of free local channels and works great for the kids rooms. I especially like that it has two sides, one black and the other white to suit your decor preference. Great deal during pre-thanksgiving sale.

Placed the antenna in my window. The hook-up was simple (I split it between an Amazon Recast box and my television). It pulled in about 55 channels (I live within ten miles of broadcast antennas). The reception is from good to very good. Very happy with the product.

It’s thin, it looks nice and it works as intended. I got new channels now and they look great!
I love the fact that you get the black and white color option in the same product. Sometimes it’s hard to decide over a color... you get both! :) it looks even nice as a decoration detail in my living room.
Just one thing... When I set it up for the first time channels had no image after scanning for air channels. It said they were audio channels... I was about to go the store and return it. Then somehow I restarted my TV and everything was fine. Insignia should add that final step on the installation process. At least that happened to me...

It's cheap and I get HD reception. Since moving out of my parents' home about 8 years ago, I ditched cable and just relied on streaming services, but I did miss the days when I could just turn on the TV and have somebody decide what to watch for me.
Sometimes the sound cuts out while I'm watching. It's not a deal-breaker, and it cuts out just long enough to make it sound like a swear word is being censored. The cable is also freakishly long, so it doesn't help with cable clutter if that's a big deal for you (but it does offer a great deal of flexibility for placement).

I like this antenna because it's lightweight and very easy to install. It works very well picking up many channels in my area. I haven't even installed it on the wall yet. It's by a window but I installed it to the TV, then leaned it up by the TV. I am sure once I hang it higher on the wall I will get even more channels. It has dual color, black on one side and white on the other.
