I had a 7 year old remote die on me and my Samsung blu-ray player, so I decided to visit Best Buy for a replacement. The associate tried to sell me on a more expensive remote, but I told him this was only for a blu-ray player and I wanted the minimum. He recommended this one and it works well. I was able to easily program it with the 7 year old Samsung Player.

Simple to program, and has all of the expected options. It replaces a much smaller remote, although I don't consider that a drawback since remotes in my household tend to disappear occasionally.

I got this to replace a broken television remote. It’s a fine replacement. In theory, I could use it to control other devices, but I don’t do that. I just use it for the television, and if that’s all you want this remote for, it’s inexpensive and it works. If you want it do to more, I can’t help you there.

I bought this for my neighbor next door because he had informed me that his new satellite dish service came to repair his dish. After the repair they also noticed his box top needed to be replaced which they did and with that came a new remote. The trouble he was being able to see the buttons so well. As a kind gesture I purchased this remote thinking big buttons and looks staight forward, I was wrong. One issue I kept having was that when I programmed the TV in the TV slot I would try to program the box top and it would over write the TV even though I program it to the satellite button. After an hour I figured another way to do it needless to say it is doing well

We lost the bluray remote, and there wasn't a way to play the movie without it. I thought I would have to buy a fancy remote, but I ended up buying the most inexpensive one. It connected and I am able to play my blu ray movies again

I liked this remote, but it did not quite work with my sound bar. It did set up for it, but it did not automatically control the volume. It worked GREAT for my TV & Blu Ray units.

I bought this for a universal remote to hook up a T.V., Blue Ray Player, and Cable. It was easy to program thank goodness because I have a difficult time programing multiple items. It does come with codes in the instructions also. I did not have any issues and the salesperson was great.

I thought this was going to be complicated, but I literally put the batteries in and that was it. No trying to find codes. Now I do have a small no frills Insignia TV so not sure it is like that for all. But extremely happy with my purchase.

Lost my old TV control and needed a new one found one at BestBuy and it was just what I was looking for and the price was also within my range if I never lose any of my other items I now know where to go and the services was also great

this is a great universal remote control, I was able to control all my devices easily, I did not have any problems pairing them up. The buttons are great to the touch too. Highly recommended!

Bought this to replace lost tv remote. Works great. Only use it for tv as it doesn’t work with amazon fire stick. Price was right on a deal of the day.

I have a small APEX TV. The remote was easy to program. There is no setting for a sleep timer which is a feature I needed. Most other features are included.
