it does include all the necessary connections for my cameras, however, the remote itself does not function very well. With my 6d mark ii the shutter release is very delayed by at least 2-3 seconds. with the sony a7 the shutter is pretty responsive but will not do timed released shots.

This is a must have for light painting. And portraits as well!

I found using a wireless remote to be too restrictive so I added this wired remote to my bag of goodies. I use it on a Nikon D3200 and it works flawlessly. A perfect companion to a tripod.

I read the instructions several times. The unit did not function as it should have. It may have been defective. I returned it. :(

This remote shutter seems solidly made. It has similar features and functions to other intervalometers and tested fine. When plugged in the connecting cable was so loose that it fell off of the cord with just the weight of the unit. The cord was so loose that it would only function when held tightly in place. On close inspection I found face scratches suggesting that it may actually be a return or refurbished unit. Approach with caution!

I've always liked Insignia products and have always had good luck with them. Not the case this time. I bought this remote for use of a manual shutter release as well as a timer for low light and night photography. The problem is every time that you want to view your picture on the LCD screen on the back of your camera, you have to disconnect the cable from the remote. The same is said for adjusting your cameras settings in the menu screen. Not only is it time consuming but a real hassle if it is pitch black out. By having a DSLR I've always enjoyed the benefit of being able to immediately view my shots on the LCD screen and adjusting the exposure in seconds. This is not the case when fiddling around with the remote comes into play. This remote is not something I would recommend unless you have no other alternative or a great deal of patience. I'm giving it one star because it should work like the rest of its competitors out there.

It works and here's the job done but it seems to be cheaply made. I have trouble keeping the cable securely in at times. Additionally (and I'll not sure if this is the tenure or a camera issue) reviewing the image that you just took with the tenure is not available unless you disconnect the remote.

Not a bad price for an Item I needed for time lapse photography. Works well with the rebel xti and the rebel t4i.

Who manufactures a interval timer that has to be disconnected from the camera every time you want to view the LCD screen? Its a waste of money. Just spend a few extra and buy a legit one not this piece of junk
