    Great USB 2.0 Card Reader

It reads almost every kind of card, even CF II. The cable is adequately long, and although somewhat thin, seems to be of high quality. The reader itself is nice and small, easily portable in the smallest camera case. The CF slot, like most, is snug, so be careful not to bend any pins. The case is metal and sturdy. The only drawback is that it's not USB 3.0, but it didn't claim to be, either! On USB 3.0 vs. 2.0: If your cards are only capable of 20-30 MB/s read rate, you may as well go with USB 2.0. I used a standard Class 4 SD card, 30 MB/s read rate, to transfer the same 6 GB video files, and on USB 2.0 it took just over 6 minutes, on a USB 3.0 reader it took just over 5. Now, if your cards are 30 MB/s or faster, definitely go for USB 3.0.

The great feature on this is the multi format.. I have a few CF that I had to always borrow to view my photos. This has that and other formats in one. The price was reasonable and I just love it. Nice compact size too. There are higher priced multi format card readers, but I just love this one.

I bought this card reader because I needed to be able to use multiple types of cards. the reader itself is well built, the metal body makes me feel a little more confident carrying it in my backpack when traveling. No complaints so far, works as advertised.

This item was purchased in order to put music on a memory card, via the computer, to be played back in the car. After trying a lesser quality product, an employee directed me to this one. It works great and is very simple to use! It is also compatible with several different memory card sizes.

I needed this for work as some of the instrumentation uses different types of cards and I need to transfer files while in the field. Worked very well. Only problem was getting the cards correct side up at first. Transfer rate was very good.

Bought new laptop with Win 8.1. My old card reader (drivers) could not be recognized. Ran over to Best Buy and found a good card reader. Win 8.1 had no problem finding the device driver... Not a bad product and very Portable!

This device is small and light enough to fit in my camera bag, and enables me to quickly and securely get my photos and videos from camera to laptop. It does a lot, but did not cost a lot, making it a good value and essential gizmo to have around.

Bought this wanting a USB2 card reader that supported CF SD cards in addition to the other standard cards. Speeds are in-line with max speeds of the cards themselves. It works perfectly fine with Ubuntu 14.04 and Debian 7 and 8 Linux.

I have wanted a card reader that would handle multiple formats and cards. I plugged it in and it went to work immediately and let me read SD cards that would not register in my other devices,

This reader is reasonably priced and well made. It is nice that it accepts multiple card formats, as my 7d MK II uses both SD and Cf cards in the dual slots.

Box is heavier than my old plastic one, seems durable but a little heavy. Accommodates the usual variety of cards. Bought open box unit, but even regular price seemed like good value.

Very simple plug and play straight out of the package. On my first use I was able to download 300 pictures that had been stored on a card for much too long in a few short minutes. Should have gone with this setup a long time ago. Now after an outing with my camera I come home and download first thing with no lost pictures. The multiple ports give plenty of options for different style memory cards so I can exchange pictures with others quickly and easily.
